Well the time has come and passed. Is there anyone else calling B.S.? You should at least be able to show us the score from the actual score sheet. If you want to be credible you should at least give us the score sheet or a picture of you with the deer. You have 170 some odd replies to your post, let's see something.

Doubtful

Was on a hunting trip since Thursday just got home.If i could i would thats all i'm going to say.

Were going to contact Rick shortly and see about the end of a season video clip.We have 3 doe kills and 12 different bucks scoring more then 120 and less then low 130's on film within range we passed up on.We also have the 1 that got away on film. Not sure how many shoe boxers but a lot.75% of those deer are all off of a corn ladder stand in a waterway or between 2 corn fields on a fenceline.I guess a couple are in a bean field but hunting from the corn ladder stand.3 different stand locations about a mile apart i have 6 bucks in a group on video no doubt there all the same 6 (5) different times. All 6 are within 8 yards each time some as close as 5 feet. All are 18 month old deer so still a lil on the dumb side

Maybe if Rick wont mind we can do 2 clips.1 around Nov 1st then another around new years just after the last day of hunting

Busy my arse, takes a whole minute or two to post a pic from the bucket. I just think the guy says he's gonna post pics Fri night he should follow through on it. I'm sure we'll see them sooner or later but I vote for sooner!

I havent made many posts and I dont want to badmouth TJM, he comes across as a knowledgable whitetail hunter. But seriously, he "knew" the "value" of this deer before he shot it but still he went on getting about 100 people here to bow down to him, so it seems. I think he owes it to his little fan club here, tjm, to put the phone down with Cabelas and put your money where your mouth is. Otherwise your going to be known as the boy who cried wolf....

Ive read your posts, you asked for the spotlight, now you got it!!

Do any of you think that he is contractually obligated to NOT produce any photos of the deer because he "sold" all rights to someone? Apparently none of you have any experience in this type of thing, but when you make a money deal on something like this, it is pretty much like signing away your first born. They OWN all rights to this animal per the terms of the contract.

Everyone is speculating about this and that and pushing for him to produce pictures. What does he have to gain by doing so? Oh, a pat on the back by a bunch of keyboard jockeys! What does he have to lose? Considerable money, lawsuits, perhaps worse? Think about it for a minute.

This just proves the point I have always made about internet message boards. No one believes you unless you produce pictures, but when you produce pictures, it isn't as big as you claim it to be. It's a lose/lose proposition.

If the guy was lying do you think some of his buddies would come to his defense? Do you think the people who have actually seen this deer along with him would have chimed in here? I don't think so.

You may be right there CaptainMusky, but honestly then don't start this thread and seek all that limelight and pseudo-celebrity status. Just sell your deer and make your money then. Or if you are just such an ego-maniac that you need 200 replies of guys kissing your posterior to tell you how great your kill is, then at least produce what you promise. Don't come on here looking for all the attention and then claim the attention is a burden to you.

That of course is assuming this is what TJM thought was going to happen. Do you think he thought it would have taken off like this? I doubt it. He, like everyone else, that has ever taken a large animal, caught a big fish, wanted to share it with people. It is human nature. Why do you have a photo with your deer in your avatar? Granted, I do not hear you boasting about it, but I really don't hear him bragging it up either, he is just telling the story. If he was just out for notoreity, do you think he would have offered up the opportunity to bring someone along with him? I doubt it! The fact is NONE of us have been in his situation so we cannot criticize him for what he has done. When he made this post, he probably had no idea how big it would get, or that there would be any issue with sharing the photos at that time. Now he knows different.

If he had it to do over again, he might rethink things considering the negative reaction some people are taking towards his motives.

I think they are all jealous.

I can't recall him actually stating he sold the rights to the deer or explaining that to us...

Musky is correct. I did not know that, and I would never know that because a deer of that magnitude would look good on my wall where I could enjoy it every day. grin.gif

I think he stated above that he was talking with someone in regards to this deer.It may take some time to get this done so to not interfere with the other end.

I would also agree that everyone would like to see this deer alone with myself as this is not your typical 8pt buck.We will see it when the rest of the deal or deals are done.

Thanks captainmusky i see you atleast read the past.Heres 1 i think some of you have not seen unless you been following up the archery forum

For those wanting better pics of the big boy go have a look.]

Am i bragging..NO...If it sounds like it well i'm sorry.Like i said if i could post a pic at this very moment i would fill the page up.If i could tell ya more i guess i would now dont ya think.

I never figured this deer would be anything what it has turned into.Nor did i think this post would turn into what it has either. All in all 2 guys get to come along deer hunting that i have never met.Maybe next year i might offer this again we'll see how it goes this year

Am i looking for fame as some seem to think NOOOOOOOOOO.If you realy wanna know what i'm looking for i'll tell ya.I'm looking to find another hunter or 2 that has a clue to become my hunting partner.1 that just wants to fill doe tags and search for the buck of a life time each season and have fun.Couple guys that wanna go with me just dont have what it takes in my mind.We have talked about it over and over.I'll take them along set them up on deer but all thats going to change over the next year or 2.I'm getting old i'm going to start slowing down prety soon so i need to find someone that has a very good idea what it takes to produce big bucks in southern Mn

Some people do better at there job then the rest of the world. Then you have some that do better at deer hunting then others.Thats life.Do you hear me complaining you making 100,000 a year and i work twice as hard as you.

I know i said friday i'll post pics.Things changed i'm sorry i cant keep you happy.Same reason i dont take some very good friends along deer hunting.Never happy what ever the outcome is just like Captain said

i dont see it.

10-4-06 "the FRIDAY" was the day he said he would post the pictures.

he has talked about posting some clips on 11-1 and again at the end of the season???

which reply are you talking about, what date?

I will not do all the work for you, there are tools here, if you know how to use them. Here is one post, there were earlier ones.

This post: "#873813 - 10/04/06 11:43 AM" has a lengthy explanation.

Just so you know, I don't know TJM from Adam, but I get real frustrated when a guy goes out of his way to help others out and then the thanks he gets from some people is nothing but skepticism.

I would do just about anything to have a chance at hunting deer like that, heck, I would love to just get photos of them or see them in their setting, if not able to get a chance to hunt one.

I don't have the time to put in to scout, so I truly admire people like TJM who can and it is really hard work. Add that to the fact that getting permission on private land is really difficult today. I gave up archery a few years ago because I didn't want to hunt public land anymore. Now I only rifle hunt, again, on public land.

If you don't believe it, don't visit this post anymore. Otherwise, wait until he is able to do what he has said he will do.

I caught one of the largest muskies of my life recently, in fact, it was a two fish day for me (42 and a 49). I wanted to share with some people, but of course, one person in particular really ruined it. I sent him a message that I caught a nice fish and his only response was "where are the pictures". I showed him pictures and he proceeded to say, "that doesn't look like xyz lake" since I had told him the day before the outing where I was going. I chose not to share anything with him anymore, some people just cannot contain their jealousy. Too bad, there are some good people out there, the few ruin it for everyone else.

Hey guys, lets give tjm the benefit of the doubt until he can post his pictures. He could be in a situation where he cannot show the pics until a certain time as he stated. We have no real reason to not believe him and when he can he will post the pics.

I would say that we should give him a month to show them and if he choses to do so,he can update us.No sense of everyone getting all wound up over something tjm might not have control of.

I just finishied skimming through this post I wish I would have found it earlier so I could have taken a guess. I was wondering if any of you guys have seen the october issue of North American Whitetail? There is actually an article in ther about the value of a rack that size. My only question is are yoy selling the rights to your story or are you selling the antlers? In the same article it talks about buying extra insurance for your mounts. Anyway from the picture on the first page of this post if you did shoot this monster then congratulations! That is a deer of a lifetime.
