Update... *The Recap**

Ok... here is the deal... September 30th is the day! South Center Boat access. Get there when you would like, but try to be back to the boat landing by 3pm for a late lunch. Bring your own food and beverage. We can leave our boats at the boat access and walk to my house( I just live across the street. I have a grill at my house if you want to grill something, but it might be nice if someone brough an extra one.

Please place a red flage or somethign else red somewhere on your boat so we know you are a part of the event and can introduce ourselves on the water.

If people would like to be in a big fish contest.. please let me know, I will do my best to set that up if enough have intrest... But I would rather this not be a tournament, but more a get together and fun meet and greet.

It's my son's 1st B-day that weekend, so I won't be able to make it. However I would like to do the event like you had on Forest next year.

Sorry for picking duck opener... its one of the few saturdays I had free before lake turn over... Best of luck to all those who will be duck hunting. Hopedully this will be a yearly event(if I can talk my wife into it.. LOL) And I will try and pick a day a little earlier so as not to mess up anybodys hunts.

well I have a Tripple wammy, 1: Pat, my partner from the Flake turny is moving that weekend. 2: One of my best friends from High School is getting married, 3: My motor on my boat is still not working, so I really dont have a boat. I might try and make it for the AM stuff...Maybe see you off all off at the landing in the pm. Who knows, maybe my friend will call it off, Pat wont move and My boat motor will just start to work...

Deitz, I am going to try to get out there on this date to at least fish and met a few FMers. I always like to tyr different bodies of water and meet others that like to fish. I do not know if I can stay post 3:00 for the get together at your place. I would be interested in the big fish contest for a little fun.

Im really hoping I can make it. Im suppose to work at four that day but am looking for someone to pick up my shift. If no one takes it I may be there for a bit in the morning.

So are people planning on doing the big fish tournament or just fishing for fun? I would like to do the big fish if I can be there the whole day.

The public access is on 295th st.

as for where to fish.. it seems the shallow bite has been best. Try to find weeds, pads, docks, ect.

I'd love to get in on this but I'll be out in SD at the Ft. Randall Casino giging with my band! (100 miles west of Sioux Falls) If you want to do one later in October (when the biggun's are biting) let me know. I don't put my boat away till Thanksgiving.. I'm bumming cause I'd really like to do this and I love fishing South Center.
