BLACKJACK
Thought it would be interesting to see what people are grilling this weekend.I'm doing burgers tonight (1 lb venison and 1 lb beef mixed), pork loin steaks on Sunday, and for the 4th I think I'll be doing a whole chicken. With the burgers tonight I'll be doing an onion on the side, with the pork and chicken I'll be doing potato wedges. The only reason I'm not grilling on Sat is that I have a wedding to go to. On a side note, I just went out to Menards at noon and bought one of their gas grill that were on sale. Not the fanciest, but it will get the job done. My other one was over 10 years old and on its last legs...

eyepatrol
I'll have to find that out from my wife Dotch. She can put together a pretty tasty marinade. Problem is, she just throws stuff in and doesn't keep a real record of what the ingredients are. I'll ask and see if she remembers though.

waskawood
My local meat market has the BEST prime rib. They take a rib eye and put it in a cooking bag and cover it with some kind of powder. I put it on the grill in the bag and then finish it out of the bag for a grilled flavor. The prime rib and the au jus is fabulous!!! I want to wish everyone a great 4th and enjoy our freedom. eyepatrol
Here it is Dotch....straight from my wife. It's a bit vague though, so you may need to experiment with her experiment. Quote: Squeeze 1-2 lemons and/or limes into a bowl. Add soy sauce (maybe ½ cup) and a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce. Toss in some crushed garlic (2-4 cloves), course ground mustard (maybe two tablespoons). Whisk in extra virgin olive oil and honey. Add spices (I use chili powder, red chili pepper flakes, black pepper and onion powder) to taste.
