I hear ya Mark, I got to 49 1/2 with a 'tonka muskie, maybe she will be 50 if I can find her again.

38 inch northern in Pine River area.

I caught a monster carp on a Rapala fat rap (fair hooked) that had to go mid 30lb range. That was from Rice Lake out by Paynesville.

Still need a wally bigger than my best of 27, hit that a couple times.

My personal bests have been a 23 3/4 inch largemouth, released. And a 29 1/2 inch walleye, that one is on the wall, trolling at about midnight, orange spinner, I was 14.

Igotem, I bet that was a battle trying to get that thing through the ice! 10" Holes?

Whew, DTRO, I'm glad that was a joke. I didn't want to be the one to say you're really full of #*$^! That second pic looks much better, nice fish!

My biggest hook and line catch is either a 9 pound walleye or Northern out of Mille Lacs. I have caught a few of each in that range. Last Spring at the Cabin I was goofing around with my Uncle's fishing net, and I netted atleast three carp around 20 lbs. I put a nice bend in his new Beckman. Those things are crazy during the spawn.

The best fishing I have ever had, has been in the boundry waters. I caught a northern pike that measured 43", weight unknown. the northern had bite mark across its back, kind of scary. I also caught a 19" small mouth in the bwca. I have pictures of both, but i'm not smart enough to get them posted

Thanks for the info marine_man. One inch to go to my first 50-inch musky. The 49" muskie was caught and released on 9-7-02, Lake Minnetonka.

Thanks also to the friendly musky fishermen who took the photo.
