I wish I could say something smart about this cold weather, but looks like it will stay with us through the weekend. DANG NAB IT ALL. Just when I was getting use to that 50 degree temps last week, the weather has to get cold and snowy on us.

Sounds like warmer weather is in store later next week. Let SPRING BEGIN SOON!

I hear ya fishnalot. I was out last night and the big crappies are hungry. Filled out in less than an hour and then C & R for another couple hours. Nice size. Most between 11" and 13". The ice was making noise last night as it was making ice. Also not a lot of snow on top anymore so much easier to get around. I think the best fishing of the ice season has been the last week. Hammer time. But you guys, feel free to put you ice gear away. Like someone said, more lake for me. LOL

You are right homer. I only had 9 in the bucket and the tenth fish went back. Didn't keep the 10th fish till we left. I could be wrong, but I don't think that violates any reg's. I never take more than a limit of any species. I like good karma and keeps me in tune with the crappie gods. smile.gif
