This is horrible! I can't believe people would do such a thing. This is exactly why I built a retractable wheeled fish house! It never sits out empty. People are dumb! I've made a donation and wish that I could help out more!

Just got your email. You can use my FM Name, eskay, if you want . I'm not an ice fisherman, but spend a great deal of time fishing open water, especially the canadian side of LOTW.

I heard that the fellow that lost the house needs specialized equipment to fish due to his health problems, so if there's any money after the house is replaced, perhaps the difference could go towards replacing the interior, or maybe a bigger and better house than he had originally.

Always glad to help out when someone becomes a victim of senselessness.

I would like to thank Eskay for his generous donation along with you $150 and $100 donators as well.

We also had a number of $50, $25, $15, $10, and $5 along with some odd amounts. You can all be very proud of yourselves!!

We will be taking Jon to Cabelas in Owatonna tomorrow so he can replace the fishing gear he lost to the vandals.

We will then give him the money he needs to complete his house to accommodate his needs.

The balance if any will be sent to the Chisago County Sheriff's office as a reward for information leading to the conviction of those vandals.

Again, I am so proud of the Fishing Minnesota and HotSpotOutdoors family we have here
