Lag?

Anyone else getting some lag. my page wont load, unless I stop it.

This has been slowly coming to a head since around the 19th-21st.

There is a new worm that is out preying on old installations of phpBB and is causing massive DOS attacks. Our pipeline started seeking these installations out finally this afternoon and locking them down. Until they get them under control my server will appear to be a little slow.

Our new server is actually very fast, it's all the data trying to get through the pipeline that is causing the traffic jam.

Not all sites on the net are experiancing this issue but many are.

The good news is that we've had a nice jump in new visitors over the past week.]

Big time DSL on this end.... I've also noticed a slow down most of the day... It was REALLY bad this morning.

Yeah here too.....It kinda has its period where it will be kind of slow then it will just act dead and barley move, and I have DSL too! I cant imagine some people with dial-up trying to be on here.

yeah, the page is much slower than other pages I'm on. It may be because of a lot of traffic on a somewhat boring Sat. nite :-)

Things will start speeding up again soon.

Now that Im at home Im ok. Glad to hear about the increase in traffic. Makes for more input and FUN!

Mine was super slow to nonexistant yesterday...did'nt have the patience to wait it out, maybe to be disappointed with a "This Page Cannot Be Displayed."

I figured it would be okay today and it is...an explanation has been given and we are back in contact! Dos is goot!
