Pork jerky

Making venny jerky and decided to try the pork jerky with a couple hunks of loin that were in the freezer. Letting it thaw a bit more and then i will sprinkle with hi mountain mix and throw in the dehydrator friday morning. 

I cut it cross grain to try.  Hopefully will be fine

read about it online.  I hadn't heard of pork jerky but it sounds really good.

of course pork jerky is good!  You can even make jerky out of premium venison parts I heard somewhere.

I see those pork tenderloins at Costco.  I bet they would make good jerky.  

If it ever warms up, have to get out the smoky mt. and give it a try.  I have plenty apple wood.

The pork loin chops I had tonite, I was talked into trying from Walmart. (Ssshhh) my buddy is mgr there; said the meat is guaranteed, if it's not great, full refund...OK, OK, I bought a pkg. Just this once. Er...ah...they were great. Really. Soft and tender......

That drying jerky smell would drive me slobbering crazy. I'd have to put it in the garage.
