My son used Smurfy's pickled pike recipe & mixed a 50/50 giardeneria after the last ice bath.

2 jars gone by 1/2 time & I'm hiding this one w/ da p.b. choc. chips for da shanty tomorrow

Ok I cheated. Lacasita cooked this. Took the FW out tonight for Valentine's.

Smurf I am not sure what you mean? Was there something else we didn't agree on?   I have never known anyone to have fried fried fish with PB and J sandwiches before but now because of you I may try it.

Nope we are good. My wife and I couldn't decide what else to make.

 

Usually we make buttered noodles and heat up stewed tomatoes, but we didn't feel like it tonight!

 

Personally I think I fits right in with fish!!!

Been there. I cooked a ham the other day and when we couldn’t decide what else to have with it I said screw it and threw some French fried in the air fryer.

Ok if you have any leftover pizza here is where a peanut butter sandwich comes in. Take some cold leftover pizza the next day and put in the middle of your PB sandwich. I think it tastes great!

I leave my sense of adventure on da ice. My sense of common , i use in da kitchen. My Maltese grandmother would haunt me for mixing p.b.& j w/ tomato sauce and my gut thanks me for it.

Made a late Valentine's dinner for the GF

 

Sauteed some garlic & shallots in butter & EEOV

 

Add peppers, portobellos & wine, reduce by 1/2. 

Poach fish & boil bucatelli to pre- al dente ( finish it in da sauce)

 

Garlic bread is done

Add heavy cream to sauce, add fish, pasta, parsley & capers. Top w/ grated romano cheese.

Pike peppers & portobello w/ creamy garlic caper sauce over bucatelli.

A plea for help to my brothers in slush. If a new female member inquires about Michigan law.

It is a felony to spear on Friday & not return on Monday to make sure your spearhole re-froze, regardless of any political, religious or romantic holiday.

Straight up grilled venny backstrap for a quick dinner tonight.  Marinated in Thelen’s Mr Albert marinade and a bit of rub to crust up the outside a bit.  Mmmm.

Negative.  When they swallow my jigs I want them back, sooo….

 

I have two more and I gave one to my friend that came up.  He hasn’t had one for a while.
