Are there any places that would pay for Junk Cars?

I am located in Twin Cities MN. Are there any places that would pay for junk cars? I saw a few sites online, but I don't have much experience with this. My car still runs, but I would consider it a junk car.

French Lake junkyard will take it. Just do a search for them, that should work.

Junk yard in Green Isle, west of EP approx 45 miles would pay you for it also. Goose lake between Waconia and Mayer may also take it depending on the make, I believe they are into Chry products mainly but may take others.

U pull r parts in east bethel will take it. I would bet johns in Blaine would to. There not Going to give you much I would assume, but any junk yard would want it and might pick it up at your house.

Most junk yards that handle vehicles will take it but you have to have a clear title to sign over to them and they will pay you for it. What they will pay depends on what scrap metal is bringing in the market.

I recently contact junk cars davie and they have paid me for junk cars. You can contact them if they are near to you.

Are you looking to buy a new vehicle at the same time as getting rid of this one?  

 

Its been awhile but I had a dealer give me $500 for what I'd consider a junk car on trade in.  A buddy of mine got a similar deal when trading in his old car.  His had lower miles but was in rough shape in all other ways. I think for the dealer its more of a ploy to entice you to buy the new vehicle from them but if you're in the market it might be a way to offload a vehicle you don't want and that doesn't have much value otherwise.

Scrap is way down. $45 a ton in Mora last weekend, up from 30 the week before. Was 90-100 months ago.
