Neighbor_guy
For those of you attending the Blaine Hardwater show this weekend be sure to stop by the MDAA booth. The East Central Chapter is hosting the booth. They will have Fish Toys Ice Saws, Grumpy Decoys, and Amish Spears that you can add to your collection. You can also pre-buy your banquet tickets for their spring banquet. Or renew your memberships as well. And get your chance for a one of a kind custom copper spear if you are feeling lucky. MJ1657

MJ1657
I added removable skis to my folding hub house floor. They attach with bolts that go through the floor and tightened down with wing nuts. Should work good for early ice walking out. MJ1657
I like to collect these stand up tongs. Sometimes they have a bolt for the hinge or the rivet is plain worn out. I ordered some rivets. A little heat and some time on my anvil and they are as good as new. Here are three I just fixed up. mrklean, monstermoose78 and Neighbor_guy

lungdeflator
Well my spot on Sakakawea froze enough awhile back, but between work and the holidays, I have not had a chance to get out yet. Thursday will be the day to set the house and spend a full 2-3 days watching the deeks. I've heard the water is fairly clear so hoping thats the case! mwal, Neighbor_guy, mrklean and 1 other
MJ1657
Up on Winnie until Friday. One of my trucking buddies, his brother, and friend from Indiana came up. They have never done anything like this. They thought cutting a hole was exciting. I love it.
Neighbor_guy
If they want to cut holes on Saturday they are welcome too. The words "we do this for fun?!?!?" Are often heard while cutting a hole and setting a spear shack.
lungdeflator
Set the house out on Sakakawea yesterday. Right on the little honey point in 9FOW. Had to mess with the heater for awhile so I didn't get to drop a decoy til about 10am. Sat til 230. Saw 5, including 2 that were right in the 10-12 lb range. I was able to bring a small one right up to the surface and touch it's back! My dogs were very close to jumping in after it. Didn't spear any. Took home 5 walleyes from later in the evening. Got out right at first light this morning and had 3 in the first half hr. Red/white has always been the hot color out here and continues to perform this year. Still trophy hunting for that 20+ piggy. Good luck! shamalex72, Neighbor_guy, MJ1657 and 1 other
