slick2526
going to end up order the climate coat and bibs. Whats the best way to measure myself for a correct fit? Tried emailing striker but no response back.
CaptainMusky
Measurements not sure but what I have found and many others is that you will need to increase your parka size by one. They tend to run small. Bibs seem to run normal and length should never be an issue because they have lots of extra built in that can be shortened up for shorter inseams. kensom
I would not not recommend buying one of these without trying on first...I bought a medium jacket last year...every jacket I own is medium but My Striker seems a bit large to me. With the floatation built in these are a little stiffer and worth trying on first.
DTro
If anything, my experience is that they run a bit big. I would also try one on if you can.
CaptainMusky
The climate suit? Run big? You would be the first I've heard that.
DTro
oh, maybe the Climate is different than the Hardwater, just assumed they were the same. I have a XL bibs and jacket (6' 220) and a large would probably have been better.
CaptainMusky
:-) you're not quite as big of an animal as I am but I am running a size larger in parka but same size bibs as what I normally get
Whisker Warrior
The Climate suits defintely run bigger. I normally wear a L jacket and bib but with the climate suit I ended up getting a L jacket and M bibs...the L bibs knee pads were at my shins...definitely try on first if possible...i went to profishingsupply in Waconia. TruthWalleyes
A xxl arctic armor runs smaller than an xxl striker. I have both and should have gotten the xxxl arctic armor. Love the length on the striker. 6'6" 280#
pushbutton
From what I gather do think the bibs, especially the knees, run a little large. Am in the "shorter fatter guy" category(5-9 190ish) and have not been wearing much in the way of mediums going on many years, but while the jacket was ok in the large, and have not tried on the medium bibs, suspect they would be a better fit. I was too impatient, but if you can, would recommend simply trying them on first. If not, good luck trying to filter through all the different opinions....myself included
Eric_Kruger
Order a size larger in the coat, if you dont the liner will be too small when worn by itself. The bibs should be the same... Try calling striker, I know they are in the process or just moved to a new warehouse, and its starting of show season and getting things out to retailers so they are a bit busy. JeremyCampbell
I was also wondering.I checked the striker site and didn't see any size table I was looking for.Maybe it doesn't exist yet.I'm 5'11 200 lb.
ZachD
5'11" and 180 lbs will put you in a Large for Arctic Armor or for Striker Ice, unless you go with SI Climate Suit and then you'll want an XL jacket and Large Bibs.Hope that helps and let us know if there's anything else we can do!That was the email that I got when I ordered mine

The chart above indicates the lengths attainable for each size.Note: The above size chart reflects the correct sizing information for the Striker Ice jacket and bib. The Striker Ice HardWater jacket and bib fit slightly smaller than the Striker Ice LITE jacket and bib due to the additional 75g of Thermadex insulation and heavier shell material. The Climate jacket is also sized slightly smaller so that it can be worn as a shell without the lining. Those with large stomachs should consider moving up one size. Tall sizes are 3 inches longer in body and sleeves. Size 5XL is proportionately larger than 4XL.
JeremyCampbell
My bad,I was calling "strike master" striker.I didn't realize there was a generic version which I'm assuming is striker.I was on the stike master site looking for the table not striker.Oops! ozzie
nothing generic about Striker suits...different company than strike master and the suits by each company aren't on the same level. Striker suits float and Strike Master suits don't.

PerchJerker
We can help with sizing questions for StrikerIce or for ArcticArmor. We get a lot of questions from customers who aren't sure about sizing or who want to make sure they get the right size the first time. One or two emails to us with your measurements is usually all we need.Sizing does not run the same for these suits and the brand and model you're looking for will affect how it fits.We can also let you know about the differences in the suits, or the features we like more in one versus another, etc.
TUCR John
Best thing would be to go to a local shop and try them on. Some people like them looser some tigher. Make sure to bring your base layer and whatever else you normally wear. It will make the best fit possible.
