DrJuice1980
Gruden loves JF and has him as his #1 QB this year and he's done an in-depth "research" and up close evaluation on all of them.Carr was his #2...I've read and seen more and more reliable sources say that Carr is placed exactly where Gruden has him on many NFL teams...I would not be suprised at all to see Carr as our #8 pick. Should be an interesting 1st day of the draft... Gruden has a list? I thought everybody was his favorite. You need to watch Gruden Camp with a grain of salt because nobody looks bad. I watched the Bridgewater one and he was missing throws left and right and Gruden only gave positive remarks. It's a TV show, you're not getting honesty. You're watching what sells the best. I like Gruden but it is what it is. Manziel, Carr, Bortles are 1st rd picks there are no more true 1st rounders and I'm stretching on the "true" there. zepman
Gruden was being interviewed on another show when he said this. He said, in his opinion, JF was talented enough to go #1 overall.
DrJuice1980
He's said that of others as well. Don't be so gullible McFly.
zepman
Not QB's...not this year anyway. His opinion is that Houston would have a very tough time deciding between JF and Clowney.Gruden has no agenda other than evaluating talent...I find it hard to be "gullibile" when he expresses his opinion openly on a nationally televised show....again, it was not the Gruden QB Football Camp either. DrJuice1980
Dude, he plays a character. It doesnt matter what show he is on. He "loves" all the QBs he brings in. His show makes Garrapolo look like a top 5 pick. Seriously zepman do you think the WWF is real too? Think McFly, think.
FISHINGURU
Just watch some Monday Night Football, every player is the greatest player to ever play the game. Every guy out there is the toughest, smartest, fastest, grinder to ever put on cleats lol.

zepman
Juice...You show either your age or intelligence (maybe both) with each and every post you make...I clearly stated that Gruden was NOT in "character" when he was being interviewed. Yet, I see you bring his "QB Show" in to the mix when said "show" was never brought up....you're making things up to suit your own perspective. That shovel must be getting heavy and the hole still deep...Dude...please read your own posts...and read others more completely if you intend to have a true disagreement. You clearly aren't capable of a mutual conversation on a "fishing" site... Shovel away....
LMITOUT
Won't matter because the gutless Vikings will never draft him anyway. Nailed. It.
Big Dave2
I think you nailed it better here:At that point you really have to think about firebombing Winter Park. Seriously, why would a fan even bother with this team if they pull that?
DrJuice1980
Yeah Zep, is he in character tonight? Dude every time he's in front if the camera he's in character. I like Gruden a lot and he knows his football but I'm not as gullible as you and buy into everything he says. Manziel is going to have to take a finger or two away from the money rub if he slides any further. Watch Philly take him.

CaptainMusky
Cleveland clearly can draft a qb in the first round at #22. They picked Quinn and Wheeden there. Muahahahaha
Eric Wettschreck
Am I the only one that liked seeing the little snot nosed punk squirm every time his name didn't get called?
CaptainMusky
Eric I was having great joy in that as well. Each time a pick passed and he was sitting there the "show me the money" became less and less".I loved how he kept checking his phone maybe to make sure he didn't has a missed call. Lol
JP Z
Yep, loved watching him squirm............and honestly I kept squirming thinking the Vikings would pull the trigger on a trade.

LMITOUT
Quote:Details on the deal that almost made Johnny Manziel a VikingAccording to Monday Morning Quarterback’s Peter King, the Vikings were one of six teams that tried to swing a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles for the No. 22 pick in the first round – the pick that would eventually belong to the Cleveland Browns, which used it to take Manziel.Had the Vikings won that race, GM Rick Spielman would have informed NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell that Manziel was their pick.Instead, the Browns won the race and picked Manziel. King says Cleveland didn’t have a deal done with the Eagles until there were 30 seconds left on the clock.Jay Glazer reported that Minnesota thought it had a deal with Philadelphia before the Browns upped the ante at the last second.Minnesota, King says, finished third in the race to trade for the 22nd pick, just behind an unknown team. Minnesota would have had to give up the No. 40 pick in this year’s draft and a 2015 first-round pick.King writes that the Vikings weren’t convinced any quarterback in the draft is going to be a star, but head coach Mike Zimmer liked Manziel. He got to know him a little better during a private meeting following Manziel’s pro day last month. At one point, Zimmer said to Manziel, “I’ve been waiting all my life for this chance. Can I trust you?’’ Manziel said yes. Manziel told Zimmer they would win Super Bowls together. Zimmer loved it. Zimmer wasn’t sure whether he trusted him totally, but he loved it, and he loved the confidence.
CaptainMusky
Who cares? It didn't happen so its water under the bridge. Its speculation and shouldn't be treated as more than that.
