LindellProStaf
I have bought 2 or 3 different olive oil bottles in the last 4 or 5 years. The rubber gasket piece always seems to shrink from the olive oil. Then I use them for another year or two with oil dripping onto the outer bottle making a mess. What do you guys use??? picksbigwagon
I have been using the same one for 8-10 years, my wife bought it at TJ maxx, never had a problem with the stopper erroding
LABS4ME
Mine is a cork stopper...I think it was a garage sale item...Good luck!Ken
Old School
All of mine are cork also. The ones that had the rubber stopper I got rid of and replaced with cork. Nothing better than to go add oil in a pan and have the stopper fall out or leak!
OnAFly
Mine is a cheapo with a rubber stopper. Had it about 3 years now. Never had a problem with it. Maybe you just get lucky with the rubber ones.

WalleyeWarrior
Earlier this year I bought an OXO Good Grips Stopper/Pourer off Amazon. I had to trim the bottom part of the rubber stop off in order for it to fit the Bormioli bottle that I bought at the same time. I really like it as it has a lever on the side that opens and closes the pourer. I have not had any problems with it leaking.
Archerysniper
2 fingers wrapped over the end of the bottle
Grainbelt
I've been using a cheapo ketchup/mustard dispenser for the last three years. Hasn't leaked yet.
Deitz Dittrich
what am I doing wrong? I just pour it out of the bottle it came in.
pikestabber
what am I doing wrong? I just pour it out of the bottle it came in. Ha! I'm with you Deitz. Pours great every time, no leaking. What a country!

delcecchi
Sort of inconvenient if you buy in liter or bigger bottles.
pikestabber
I actually buy it by the keg. You haven't lived until you've done an EVOO keg stand!
OnAFly
Or the EVOO barrel toss! Makes those aluminum kegs in college feel like a paperweight!
LindellProStaf
Ya I buy it in big 2 liter bottles. Much cheaper that way. I do like those old mustard and catsup or ketchup bottles. I might buy one of them...
bluewater2
I use a cleaned out Honey bottle. Works great
irishjigs
I use a wine bottle with a cork.
OnAFly
FYI all - Cub has decent EV Olive Oil on sale in larger bottles for about 50% off. They are still about $8 a bottle, but it's still a good price if you don't want to buy the 2-liter jugs.
LindellProStaf
Ya just used some tonight when cooking some sausage. It leaks worse all of the time. Like I said second olive oil bottle I have bought. More pours out of the seal than out of the spout. Will have to try the other bottle idea. JohnMickish
I purchased a good quality liquor pourer a couple years ago and haven't had an issue since.
delcecchi
Or you could use those squeeze bottles that restaurants use all the time. Under 10 bucks for 6 at sams or amazon
