vikings new uniforms

I heard they were changing there uni's this year anybody heard anything about it? I've seen some very weird version's one with gold helmets and gold and white iniforms. I know they tweeked the logo.

Most of those are fake. The new logo is shown on the side/side comparison. It is the one on the right. Not much different.

As a diehard Packer fan, I really like the first logo Rick posted and the gold helmet looks pretty awesome. They should change their helmet color up...maybe it'll bring them some luck come playoff time

The rumor I heard is that they will incorporate more gray into the color scheme.

My sources from within the confines of WInter Park leaked out the completed proto-type... Still alot of purple!

Looking at this story it sounds like they are going back to a darker shade of purple from the 60's. I'll be very happy if that's the case. There have been some years where they've looked more like our purple buddy Barney above.

I seen there is no more yellow, now it's a deep gold color and the purple is a deep dark purple. Swoops are gone on the pants and the stupid horn thing on the sleeve/shoulder thank god he was listening.

I found a projection of what the new uniforms will look like based on the small piece preview pics released by the Vikings:

This one compares the old uniforms on the right to the new ones on the left.

I like these. The away unis are a big improvement. I hope the numbers look a little different but still not bad. I like seeing the stripes back on the pants. I guess we'll know for sure on Thursday if these are right.
