Really wish I had a wolf license....3 of them 50 yards from stand. On the hunt so I'm pretty sure my day is done for.

Ditto. It amazes me how many think that the presence of a wolf will send deer hi-tailing for the next county. Not so. My daughter's first deer was an 8-point buck taken less than three minutes after a wolf passed by our stand. The wolf passed by about 20 yards to our south and the deer came in about 15 yards to our north. In my years in the logging business I saw plenty of deer and wolves in the same vicinity all the time.

How do you come to that conclusion? There really isn't anything to compare the number to so its pretty hard to draw any sort of meaningful correlation. Right now it means they shot 30, that's about it.

Hopefully we can get the wolves to a manageable population and the antis don't get there undies in too big of a bunch.

I came to that conclusion based on hearing they predicted lower harvests.

Do you apologize to the anti-hunters for encouraging and congratulating people for shooting deer, turkeys, ducks, or any other legal game animal out there? Why do it for wolves? This is a hunting and fishing related site, people here like to kill stuff. Go get 'em boys.
