Thanks guys, wow what a rush it was to see that thing coming up to the side of the boat. Didnt get a weight on her, but she is a pound and a half or better im sure, she is still swimming. That 12"er sure seems possible now

I have no clue, I'll have to do some research. This is a very fertile lake, with a low population of bluegills. The ones that are out there grow fast I bet.

I think it is remarkably pretty for a gill that size. They usually look like they are crossbred with a wild hog by the time they grow that large. Nice work!
