I agree hes got a bunch of $ already, but the sole reason he left Indy is because the colts didnt wanna pay his huge bonus and he wasnt about to take a pay cut to stay. They can say it wasnt about $, but it obviously was. ANY team he goes to is gonna be a playoff team if he is healthy IMO.

The 3 players who just today got suspensions - two for 6 games & one for 4 games could be a deal breaker on Manning's part. I would think he would want to go where all or most of the pieces are or would be in place on the first game day of the season.

The radio guys today said they would buy him a water softener system if he signs in AZ cause the phoenix water is so bad. They also said they would drive his kids to school everyday. Fitzgerald has been courting him hard and cards said they would go out and get anyone else that manning needs to sign.

Just heard on ESPN that sources report the Jets gave Sanchez a 3 year extension. I didn't think Manning would want any part of the New York zoo - regardless of the talent pool.

Oh, reports are that Washington has obtained the number 2 pick from the Rams and that they have indicated they want to speak with Manning. I don't think Manning will want a courtship with too many suitors. The fact that Washington bargained for the #2 pick AND let it be known publicly that they were courting makes me suspicious, but what a way to cover your bases. Manning could get his choice of the top supporting player in the draft or Redskins fill there quarterback needs with RG3. They gave up 1st & 2nd round picks this year and 1st round picks for the next 2 years. If (slim chance) they somehow got Manning but no Super Bowl, they could at least move Vikes to #2 on worst all time trades list.

Agreed. Tebow needed to go somewhere like New England or Green Bay where there is an elite quarterback and proven QB system. Going to the Jets where the fans/media have been calling for Sanchez's head? They'll be chanting Tebow's name from Week 1 on. Why would a GM do this to his team? I don't think it will light the fire underneath Sanchez if that's his hope.
