I spent my sunny afternoon in a different way... putting my daughter on the ice to fish. Went to a GAR-UN-TEED panfish bite even if there was no size to be had. We both had fun, and I am happy to say she left the lake wet, tired, and happy as can be.

Dan Z , what are you using to keep your reel connected to your rod in this pic? I just have zip ties on mine but those get kind of annoying.

Mike 1125 I use electric tape pulled tight I even do this on my open water reel seats, it just locks down the reels better. I wish they would make more Tennessee handles on open water rods

Went up to LOTW past wknd & fished sat,sun. My wife had some awesome fishing both days 7 slot fish including a 25,26,27& 32in walleye. All four of us limits of walleyes 16 to 19 both days!
