pushbutton
Fun last 4 minutes. Can't imagine this is for real but who knows.......4-
SkunkedAgain
Had to visit a relative in the hospital so I missed the first half, but wanted to finally watch a "Tebow game" instead of highlights. I watched most of the 3rd and all of the 4th quarter. The announcer seemed spot on in his analysis. Tebow looked outright bad when throwing most balls within the pocket. He has great vision when running and great tenacity though. If he can polish up his throws and build better rhythm with his receivers, he could really be something. I'll take a winner over a stat QB like Rivers any day. Although if he doesn't put up the stats, he needs to keep winning or he'll quickly lose his supporters. We'll see what teams are able to scheme against him later in the season and/or next season. The game changes once good coordinators get enough tape and tailor a scheme to defend against his strengths and capitalize on his weaknesses. All I know is that the Jets got Tebowed. goblueM
I think he's the most painful to watch QB I've ever seen play. And that includes Denard Robinson, who lately throws a pick every other drop back...It is just downright ugly. But he does find a way to win, at least against crappy defenses. I still don't see him being a long-term solution at QB though
mrklean
I keep hoping Tebow is like a bully just ignor him and he will go away, the guy is everything a NFL QB isnt and shouldnt be and the guy wins when really he shouldnt just not right
zepman
I haven't seen him play all year...only highlights of the games (if you so choose to call them that). Bottom line is he's winning. Ugly or not doesn't really matter...there are no style points awarded to teams during the course of games.I hope he keeps winning and shuts up all the 1000+ T.V. analysts who THINK they know what it takes to win in this league.Actually, with all the teams focusing so much on pass defense and setting up their teams likewise...it's no wonder he's experiencing some success. Run the ball Bronco's and run it better than anybody else...obviously, success will follow.
Scott M
Yeah, he ran over Revis a couple tiems. I'll give him credit. I turned on the game in time to see him pull it out. It was mesmerizing watching the end and then his interview. He's like a biblical robot. I gotta think teams are gonna figure out the contain and destroy Denver, but he's a heck of an athlete and tying up a LB to spy changes what a defense wants to do. In a copy cat league, it's nice to see a team try something different and unconventional.

Snag
It won't last. I agree, Sanchez will be benched soon Tebow can only get better. 4-1 without being able to hit the broad side of a church.
pushbutton
I agree, Sanchez will be benched soon Tebow can only get better. 4-1 without being able to hit the broad side of a church. Thats what struck me most about the game....not saying Tebow does, but becoming apparent that Sanchez might not have what it takes to be a NFL quarterback. Think Rexi is thinking the same thing too.......
Bran32
I'd take an offense with Tebow, AP and Harvin running the spread option right now!! If the broncos were averaging like 230 rushing yards over the last 5 weeks, the Vikes would get 350 rushing yards a game Run TIM Run I hope he keeps winning and shutting people up! RiverFish
It won't last. Clarification. Tebow won't last. They get a few drives, scored 10 points. But Tebow and the Broncos offense can not sustain drives due to the fact that Tebow can not throw the ball on 3 and long. goblueM
Tebow won't last as a long-term starting QB in this league unless he gets significantly better at passing. He can win a few games with his legs and clutch performances, but only if it is a low-scoring affair. Good defenses will consistently shut him down, and if he has to play from behind a couple scores, it is already game over. Not a recipe for long-term success
schmitty3
Tebow is awful. I can't stand this they are beating a bunch of bad teams, and its not Tebow it's there defense stepping up. Aside from the Oakland game they are averaging around 14 points a game with Tebow. Wait till they play a good team. Heck the overated Lions destroyed them. I can't wait till he plays against the Bears and gets destroyed.

SkunkedAgain
Well after the game, the analysts were gushing about how Tebow is redefining the way QBs play in the pros. I am NOT a Tebow fan, but it seems that some of you are getting red in the face announcing how bad Tebow is at QB. The fact is, his job is to win and he's doing it. Deal with it! I have. No one is getting red in the face skunked. He has won a few games. A running QB who can not throw at all(did you see some of his passes last night) is no formula for a long term NFL starting QB. ANYFISH2
Not sure how, but he's a winner. It may come to a end, but he just has a way of winning.
james_walleye
I think he's downright bad. Denver will not keep winning playing this offense. I don't get people giving him so much credit for the 4-1 record. Give me Von Miller off that defense a hundred times over a qb that can only succeed running the read option. Zero chance this "success" amounts to anything. Talk about having a roadblock at the qb position.
WyoChris
The defense has been winning games, not tebow.
Bran32
Boy most of you guys on here would have absolutely destroyed a little QB back in 1983 named John Elway!!! Here is a look at both of their stats in their first 8 games WIN-LOSS Elway: 3-5 Tebow: 5-3 Passing Yards Elway: 1,041 yds Tebow: 1,289 yds Elway: 3/10 TD/INT Tebow: 10/4 Elway 92 Rush yds Tebow: 550 Elway 1 Rush TD Tebow: 5 Do I think he will be the next Elway? No but my god give the kid a chance!! He is in the same boat as John was! Jerk off head coaches who wanted to run the ball all the time (Reeves and Fox) instead of letting them just go play ball! I could see all the hate if he was three season in jeez Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf got more time than he has. I grew up in Colorado watching Elway run around and make plays and that is what they need to let Tebow do, Elway had only a 56% completions and somehow he got to 5 super bowls Give the kid a few years if fails he fails if not than he might just become a "long term starting QB"

Elway could throw the ball.Second, when looking at those stats you have to remember that Elway and DeBerg split time during those first 7 games and that Elway was hurt.Time will tell. Tebows coaches don't even believe he can throw the ball. Fox was even quoted saying they had to go to a read option style offense with him because "he wouldn't stand a chance in a conventional NFL offense". So it really comes down to how effective this offense can be in the NFL. Let's be real, not real effective so far putting up about 14 points a game. This 4-1 is put on the shoulders of that defense. The NFL is to fast for this offense to be your staple. Time will surely tell. There is a difference between winning games, and "winning games". Does anyone really believe you can make a playoff run with tebow doing this? I for one don't and it boggles me how broncos fans can be so excited with this guy. Antero
The goal of every team is to win the SB, does anyone think that the Donkeys can win with Tim? That is the question. The obvious answer is no.I live on Colorado, the fans love him....not so much for his football but mostly for his openly stated beliefs. This state has a very high Christian conservative population. They love Mr Tebow. He would be loved if he never won a game with these fans. This part of the fan base see's no evil in him. The traditional fan base know deep down that he is not the answer and will not take them to the promised lane.In my view this is just another example of the fractured society we live in. Bran32
My thoughts on the kid have nothing to do with his Christianity! I just like to watch him play! And I meant he is in the same boat as elway was with coaching philosiphies, lack of wr talent ( and yes I like eric decker but he is not larry fitzgerald) lack rb talent and besides Clady who is the rest of the line?? It is deffinitly not 97-98 line out there!! But hey call me a Tebow apologist or whatever but I just like seeing the Broncos winning and Mile High rockin"
