Close Call for a Deer Hunter in Southern MN!

Recommended Posts

Something like this happened by Lanesboro in Fillmore County ten (?) years or so ago.

I remember hearing about that incident, and then reading the news story, which said that guy too received superficial wounds when his head was grazed by a slug. eek

I know of one guy who shot off his thumb while trying to load his gun, and another who filled his barrel with mud and ended up with barrel fragments in his leg...That was only two accidents in murray county, i wonder how many accidents happened all around the state.

Look beyond your target...always, and when sitting, figure out where you can and cannot shoot when you sit down, not when the deer pop out in front of you. Think safe and hunt another day!

those were 2 incidents that were in the paper, one guy died from natural causes, another fell from a tree stand after it started on fired from lighting the heater, i cant remember the other ones, another person shot from not seeing beyond the target.

the guy is lucky to be alive. Close calls like this should never happen.

This is journalism at it's finest. Great grammar. Good to see people getting paid to throw the fundamentals of the english language out the window.

Hawkinson say, "He can be thankful to God for walking another day, and living another day."

Salmon says, "It won't make me quite, nothing will make me quite."
