They have 2 cabins left, and i have not booked one yet, becuase i need to see if there is other people that need a place to crash.

Looking at 35.00 plus tax a night.

I have enough room for 3-4 more people if interested.

I am setting the dead line for Friday at 9 am, so if you want in, please let me know by then.

A little over a month to go guys. Thought I would throw out when the guys from our cabin are coming up and some info for first timers.

We plan on getting up there around lunch time on Friday get checked in and head to the lake to cut holes and set houses. Won't be spearing Friday just get it ready for saturday morning.

The area we will be spearing is a big flat so picking a spot is easy. There are some varying depths and some rocks but other then that not much to it.

Anyone without saws etc.. come on out and we can help cut holes and set houses.

We had to use atv's to get out there last year because the ice wasn't quite ready for trucks. There will be plenty of people with atv's and sleds/trailers if someone is coming that doesn't have one.

If anyone wants to come but doesn't have a spear, decoys, etc. feel free to speak up and there will be people that i'm sure would be glad to help out. I have some extra equipment I will loan out.

Hi MJ, I am still planning on coming up for my first time at the gtg, trying to get my dad and brother in-law to come with. How does it work if we cant stay at the same place as everyone else and can we still be "in" on the get to gator? Is there a spot I could meet you guys on that friday either on the lake or wherever is best? Sorry, I know this is late but I will be there and am looking forward to it! Just need a little more info so i can meet up with everyone as I've never met you guys before. thanks

You are welcome to come no matter where you are staying. We all meet on the lake in the morning, and then usally do something for lunch on the water, and then we hang out all night, and have a poker tournament.

SO i didnt get a cabin, as i didnt find enough people to go in on it.

From talking to alot of guys that are going to be there, sounds like most people are going to get set up on friday afternoon, so they have a full day on saturday and sunday.

As always, meal at noon on sunday at the AMERICAN FLAG. FOr the newbies, you will understand when you see it.

Everyone plese bring a something to pass around for the pot luck at 11:30 on sunday.

We will have items to give away, along with the spearing decoys for 1st, 2nd and 3rd CARVED BY LASKA DECOYS

Now, lets make ice!!

Forecast for the next ten days looks good for making ice up there.

I am not a cook so I won't be much help making anything but I do have some camp stoves or a Honda generator we could use if someone wanted to make chili or something we could heat up out on the ice.

I'll gladly pitch in some $ if someone is willing to make something like that.
