Because I am not! mad

Where in the heck has the good racing conversation gone? Why is it that all the posts now either bash Kyle Busch or Dale Jr.? Why are we allowing trolls who post simply to cause trouble ruin our forum?

This NASCAR Forum used to be a fun place to get together with a lot of you guys and have rational, fun, NASCAR conversation. The joking was light-hearted and respectful. That has been completely missing this season, and quite frankly this forum is quickly becoming a forum to avoid, which is extremely disappointing.

The light hearted joking that went on here appears to be gone.

I thought by letting people speak there minds that we could all say what was on our minds.

I know this season has been a big dissaponitment to most fans,I really think NASCAR is looseing fans left and right. I know they are having trouble with fans makeing it to the tracks because of the cost of things. I don't think the three networks think is working out the way they had planned either.

From my point it has gotten harder and harder to give up three hours of time to watch the races.

I have met afew of you and you guys seem to be good people. We have talked about my guy vs. your guy and how that all works out.

The last thing I want to happen is that we start loosing guys because all that people are doing are trying to [PoorWordUsage] one another off.

I have asked for some help in the past with this forum and hope that I can ask again.

Lets get back to the good chatter and see if as a group we can turn this around the last thing I would like is ADMIN steps in and starts taking a look at every post in here.

We have the chase starting and hope that will bring some better racing.

I have a new e-mail address and hope that you guys will take the time to shot me a e-mail with you concerns and Ideas on how we trun this around.

Realistically if there was no KB hate threads there wouldn't be much activity in the forum

That's because all of these threads have become bashing threads, and no Kyle Busch is not the only victim. BUT...it is getting rediculous. I think that is something we could both agree one.

I will admit that I have made a few posts of KB that I maybe should have not after a few others slams were made.

Yes, a few short years ago this forum was much better as alot more chatter on the racing and so forth did happen.

There have been a few that have left but I do believe the traffic is down.

I also believe there are some who come here just to see what they can churn up and it seems to have worked. I believe 3 in fact.

I agree, let's let the garbage fade away and get back to what we had not that long ago.

I agree Hof, let's get back to what this forum use to offer and forget about the other stuff.

I am all for that.

I dont mind the debate at all. Its great to hear everyone's opinions on drivers. I dont get butthurt at all or throw tantrums when people bash drivers that I like. Cough.^

I think its a total reflection of how boring nascar has become, sit there and watch a race till the end and see caution flag fly with 3 laps to go? or they throw a competition yellow what is that? or restrictor plate races, follow the leader[yawn]what happened when they used to race at an average of 200 mph thats racin!! and the biggest farce is the chase ,put the top few in a select group and have all the pundets harp about points ? they automatically put 3/4ths of the rest of the field to rest, them other 40 teams my as well stay home !!

My thoughts on the COT car and the Chase are dump the whole works and go back to racing.

Let's see, lets limit the tires and amount of practice and have so many rules that we about equalize all the teams and cars. NASCAR is now a very boring sport.

If we could go back to the racing of years ago and keep the safer barriers, I would be fine with that.

Won't happen.

I will say that I have stayed out of this forum for the most part because of the negative attitudes, and the bashing. I will check in, look at the titles of the threads, and predict who will be running their fellow member into the ground.

One thing I don't like about watching races right now is the commentators. They are better than the last network of goof balls who had no idea who was driving. I watch more the first part of the season when the people calling the race actually know what they are talking about. And yes, I even like DW...

I do like that the dirt track fans have a home here now. That was a good idea.

Relax and enjoy whats happening on the track! Forget about the make of the car the Driver is driving, and who the owner is. The drivers are all individuals who are trying to make a wealthy living out of a sport. Some are nice and polite guys and others are what the spectators perceive (actually they all are what the fans think.) It's a form of entertainment, like a movie only with no re-takes. Everyone has an opinion about drivers and makes of cars (trucks) and they're as right as the people who preferr a different make of vehicle.

soap opera for men.

Love it!

If this is a Nascar room, I dont need a key. When and if Kyle Larson makes the move to the fenders, then I may think about watching a race. He is a guest of Joe Gibbs racing this weekend.

Hottest shoe in anything with 4 wheels this year, headed your way. This kid has done things that only Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart have accomplished in open wheel competition.

Although Nascar dominates the discussions in this area, it is open to all forms of motorsports and believe me something else would be a refreshing change.

As far as everything else, rivalries in Nascar have been around forever both on and off the track with fans cheering for their favorite and booing the guy they want to lose. That will never stop.

Not much has garnered as much attention as the Kevin vs Kyle storyline that has been going on this summer so it is naturally going to be the hotbutton topic...but there probably doesn't need to be a new thread every time one of them wins or blows their nose, either.

As others have eluded to there just isn't much else to talk about. Same ol' cars that are more set-up than driver and the same teams at the top at the end of the year.
