Yeah but his QBR(much better gauge of QB performance) from ESPN was 24.7, which puts him as the 26th best QB in week 12. I'll pass on T-Junk. Ponder was ranked 13th for week 12.

T-junks yearly QBR rating puts him at the 29th spot, just behind D. McNabb. But ahead of Tebow.

Why are we still talking about T-Jack. He's been in the league long enough now that we know exactly who he is and what he offers. He's an average Qb and thats about all. He's not the worst but he's far from the best. Every QB in the leauge is going to have a decent game here or there but when you use stats like 13/16 190yds with 1td as evidence of one of his best games then I think that just proves he's nothing special.

He's not even close to being an average QB he is well below that. An average QBR rating on ESPN is 50, even with his great game last night(pierbridge), T-Junks QBR was 24.

In all fairness, QBR is a relatively new model that ESPN thrust onto sports fans this season. It probably makes sense to blend QBR and QB rating to come up with a composite. Unfortunately, that still won't look that good for Tavaris.

...but we all know that it's not Tavaris' fault. He got "jerked around." From an August article/interview on the profootball HSOforum:

Not that i'm backing T Jack at all, but that total QBR is a load of chit. T Jack's QBR was that low, but really he couldn't of done much better. He made every throw last night, and played really good. But according to the QBR he played awful?

The QBR gives a better idea of how the QB did compared to the QB rating.

Its not just how he throws it also includes when and where the QB throws the ball. It also include penalties, fumbles, running, sacks...etc....

It's not just about throwing.
