In fact he's so stealthy (some call him a shadow person) that you might not even order up a rod, and one just ends up in your hands.

It's magic.

But if for some reason he has some free time and willing to build you a rod and you really want one, don't say, "let me think about it", because you might get put to the end of the line. Kind of like the cat rod nazi, "no rod for you, come back one year".

If you see a shadow person you can tell him to give the message to the river whizz. The quickest way is probably to write your name and number on the side of a 28" bullhead stealing walleye and release it south of henderson in the MN river.
