Some may remember shots from this event last year but my wife and I made it out again today for this years event. It will be two parts, first remote shots from a Mark IIN mounted on a plate and fired remotely. The second group were shot with a hand held camera.

Looks like tons of fun. I wish I could have been there, I've been trying to teach my lab this trick. It has been fun and frustrating. Just like last year, I'm a big fan of the remote shots. I love the angle and the FOV. Truly a dogs eye view of the event. Great work!

I've been training my lab all winter to do this. Take a hunting dog that is trained to heel and tell him its ok to run, not only ok but required! He is starting to get used to the fact when his skijoring harness is put on it is a whole different set of rules! If you are interested in doing this with your dog Three Rivers Parks hold classes each winter on the basics. I would highly recommend going through one to get started.
