Info on it though:

Wyatt Kram, from up in North Dakota, is one of those guys, and last year got the itch to combine a 1980 John Deere Liqufire snowmobile and a 1977 John Deere 210 lawn mower.

"It rides pretty well, the suspension is smooth and pretty comfortable for sitting on your butt the whole time. At first it seems like it would be tippy but then you realize that it won’t tip that easily. The top speed is 45mph and it gets there pretty quickly. So far it has performed well in every situation it has been in, I have yet to get it in really deep snow but judging by what it has been in I think it will do well."

Hey Steve,

Thanks, really like these 2. The suspensions are incredible compared to the Trails. Just got back from a couple days on Red and a couple days riding up in the Tower/Ely area.

I sold the Trails on C list to a guy from outside of Thunder Bay. He wanted a couple clean utility sleds for his family and for moose/bear/deer hunting around his property.

PS: fishing was tough on red, tho it was -37 there on thursday AM crazy Trails all around Tower and Ely were amazing!!!!!! Hope this warm up doesnt last too long, want to head back up in March.

I was on the Dakota county trails on Sunday and they were still good in the morning but were getting pretty bad in spots in the afternoon. I would imagine by now they are junk. Winter probably isn't done yet though.

LightningBG,

WOW that's crazy how did you ever get that out, do I dare ask the story behind that picture!?

We were out in Colorado playing around in a giant bowl near the top of a mountain. The walls were real steep in areas and I was heading down after climbing as high as I could. There was a little bump under the snow that was too much of a transition to pull through, so it stuck (pic below). We all had shovels with, so we just dug it out and continued on. In the background, one of my buddy's is stuck too. It was a common occurrence that day.

Thanks sticknstring, been looking to get back into snowmobiling again since my brother got one last year it's been 3 years since I owned some sleds but this time I wanted a bigger and longer track w/reverse so not to kill my back.

Reverse would sure be nice. I take pride in bending over and lifting that heavy thing around. That Xtra 10 about kills me too. Man, I could really use a new sled. grin

Here's mine... pre-accident. It's actually a '98 XC 600 with a '95 XCR Hood on her.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
