I think that T-Jack is the right move for the moment. He's mobile enough to make the plays and isn't dealing with the demons that possess Mr. Brent's mind. He's still not the long term solution and from what I hear, Rice isn't coming back this season so T-Jack better get Shiancoe and Kleinsaucer to play better in the interim.

Seriously though, it's time for #4 to sit and give Jackson a try. I like Favre's competitiveness and gritty attitude, but I don't see a quick turnaround if he's hurt even worse now than in past games. Some mobility and athleticism may actually help out this Oline right now. And keep feeding the ball to 28.

The only reason Junkson MIGHT be a decent play right now is we don't trust him and we'll smash the rock with Peterson, I like Favre he's a cool dude but I don't like how we've got away from the run and more into the pass since he's been here, IMO this is AP's team and he needs more touches, our record would be way better if he got his touches.

As bad as Junkson is even he can sling some bombs downfield for Moss, he might even be able to hit Percy on slants but don't hold your breath. There's always a couple plays a game were a more mobile QB would help. I'd still need proof that Junkson can play as good as Favre even if Favre needs a wheelchair.

Either last week or this week, Randy Schaver indicated that Rice might not play this season. I don't know what his source was for saying it.

I read that Rice was catching passes at Winter Park, but he's only two weeks removed from being on crutches and was walking through his routes. They've got 1.5 weeks to either activate him or shut him down for the year.

this is the strategy they should follow regardless of who is under center if they want to try to turn their season around.

At this point I just want Farve to sit down. Put TJack in if he can't run the offense without giving up the ball as often as Farve is right now then we can put Jared Allen in at QB at least he'll be able to tackle who ever we give up the ball to.

I'm a big fan of Brent, and don't think much of T-Jack, but the old saying goes, "can it really be any worse?"

If you think so, look at Brents numbers this year.

You're right DTRO....it can't be much worse than it is right now. I think TJack would be good for this team right now...get a little athleticism in there and hope for the best.

I can't believe I just said that...but, I guess, that's how bad our offense has looked to date IMO.
