pike doctor
Win or lose this game we look like complete carp. Our O-line cant block and our D-line hasnt done a thing all season. We keep getting our arse blown off the line of scrimmage. And we dont have anybody that can catch the ball. We look slow!!!! Farve and Peterson are the only ones that are worth anything. How many more time are the guys in our secondary gonna make average recievers look good?

bucketmouth64
Going to be the Favre/Shiancoe/Peterson show. No one else is stepping up. Harvin seems to be one hit from being out of a game. O-line looks terrible especially tackles, can't protect/open holes, play calling is bad. Defensive secondary is scary. Surprised they haven't done more to exploit secondary. Chilly can't make half time adjustments.

PurpleFloyd
That one worked out well. Thanks Childress. Hopefully you can come up with some clever terminology to explain that one.
Scott M
Peed away a completely winnable game. They're going to have to really pick it up just to make the playoffs
PurpleFloyd
If they would have kicked a FG on both of those 4th down plays we would have had the points to win. Coaching was not all that different from what we have come to expect from the Wolves and the Gophers.

How many more time are the guys in our secondary gonna make average recievers look good? now that the game is over, can reduce it to Peterson as the only one that did anything. The offense looks completely out of sync; almost as if they haven't all been working together the last eight weeks or so since training camp broke. Oh yea, I almost forgot there is one who wasn't there until recently. Maybe Jared and company should have made that trip down south a few weeks earlier. Not that this was the only reason for the loss, but how many passes were thrown behind the receivers today? I counted on at least four passes that were completed that the receiver had to turn his body back to make the catch instead of the pass leading him and thus no momentum for yards after the catch. Only two losses though and I expect Favre to get better once he gets his preseason finished and gets into regular season mode. Looks to me like next week needs to feature a very heavy dose of Adrian Peterson.
MNice
more time doing productive stuff on sunday afternoons!! Really, with dvr, I record the games, if it's good, I'll watch, if not, "delete this event?" "YES"
GFNER
This team is woefully short on talent. Lets face it last year was our year. Favre arm cant go deep, our secondary is soft(Winfield WAY overated as a coverage man) and who stinks more,Mckinnie or Loadholt 600 lbs of SSLLOOWW!Get used to it MN its going to be a long season of football in MN! OLY
I dont care what anyone says, if T jack starts todays game it would have been an easy victory. Favre played like an old man who skipped training camp and I have a bad feeling that we might be seeing more of this as the year goes on. Brent's age might really be catching up with him. Antero
I was at a bar today that had the NFL package. all games on many tv's. In our little corner were Packers, Bills, Bears, Cowboys and Miami fans. What struck me is how everyone disliked the Vikes and actually hated # 4.Even TO and Ocho Cinco got some applause during the games. Favre? Folks were laughing at him, hoping for even more interceptions. Everytime the camera closed in on him a rousing chorus of boos erupted. Is it time for him to hang it up? It appears he has lost the fans. I wonder if even John Madden has given up on him?By the way, there was not a Vikes fan in the bar, what's up with that? Shack
It's like with anything, if you do not get out of your funk, you perform like funk. I do not see "our" team pulling a Coldpepper & Moss era type season and sticking a fork in it after a couple bum games. Yes we stunk, but other SB contending teams have stunk this season so far also. I do not give up until the Wild Card Chance lady signs. I am not going to say things look good when they are not, but I also think a crash course in reality is always good. Expecially if there is any big head thinking going on with all the media hoop-la prior to the season . A little failure goes a long way on the road to accomplishment. Personally I like what is going on. These games will we be used as refence when they smooth out and start winning. Again, I do not see anyone on this team feeling they are screwed and even Favre himself. They are a smart team and will get it together with Favre as their leader. I think he has been in a season like this before. I feel good things are to come and I just hate those seasons we start off with an almost perfect pre-season and a what ever and 0 start to the season. We have had killer starting lines in the past, went killer in the win category only to punk out in the end. I think cockiness gets the better most times. Steve Foss
Shoot, you guys got plenty of time to finish strong. Still no prob for you to finish 8-8 and miss a wild card berth. Sorry, Shackster. I honestly do feel bad for the purple. It has to suck being down there with the Lions. In fact, had that silly no-catch rule not been in place, probably the purple would be all alone in the basement. Such agony I would wish on no one outside Detroit. Don't worry, guys. You'll have a better record than Detroit in the end.
island guy
I thought they played OK. Overall, they are just not that good of a team. I would feel pretty good if they go 8-8.
Shack
And to those who snake to place blame because of Favre and preseason, I guess last year doesn't count huh? The only difference between last years pre-season and no Favre and this year is Favre had a legit reason for not being their. If the influence pack had gone down a couple weeks earlier, they would have got a no answer because clearance was not given yet from the Doc. Shack
Yeah I guess your right Steve, 8 & 8 just is not Favre's number.
LMITOUT
No Favre-led team has ever made the playoffs after starting 0-2.
