boar--- 4 out of 5 already. have a guy checking for me daily to now. Put cameras on ont the day I left and he pulled the disk and replaced it. how do you post an e-mail picture on here, there is a dandy on the one bait. real short legs and wide body. let me know. ----57---

Download the picture to your computer and than use the new inline imiage upload in the tool bar below the posting icons its the one with the blue arrow pointing up.Click browse find the pic click add file then click done adding files.

Well i am 0 for 2 so far. Haven't checked the ones that i am most confident in yet will be 3 nights for one and the other just got put out yesterday so i will check tomorrow. Hope to get a hit soon.

1 for 2 on baits so far. first hit came within 2 hours of settin it. just put more out today. they didnt like the camera being there though and it was knocked around quite abit

Well, already went from planing an areas set for 8 sites, but qucikly dwindled to 4 sites due to work scheduling, we can only get in four sites before it gets to late. BUT..... we have thre of the four hitting, nothing huge but they'll stuff the freezer an it's early yet, an my partner said there was a good size print in the bait pile today so picture will tell, boar

Hey Johnny, I had a huge sow with that same blonde streak come into a bait about 10 years ago... The site was about a mile south of the bankton road......just curious.

I was actaully on the Bankton today, not for bear hunting but cutting across from a minnow load. As for that bear it showed up about forty miles as the crow flies from ther Bankton/North Branch area. Now that may not sound close but we have had bear that could not be mistaken due to markings show up at Ludlow Island ten miles north of Waskish then the next day they are 8 miles south of Waskish before the following night when they where shot on the corn fields five miles south of Kelliher. Thats 35 miles in a few days so anything is possible when they decide they want to move. Genetics could have been passed this way very easily. Yesterday showed another one for the hit list(those are 7-8' long logs on the bait)

What do you mean by that, HunterLee? Being part of hunting the no-quota?

We're 3 for 5 as of yesterday at noon. Didn't get baits set until Sunday, and still have 2 baits that haven't been checked.

Checked my 2 sites last night. No hits yet, I could see where a smaller critter was trying to get in to one of them, freshened up and will check again on Saturday. I may setup a 3rd site this weekend, undecided.

First few rounds I am running about 70% hit. It always starts slow and as the baits are tuned for the bears mood and they find them I should be runnng 90%-95% going into the hunting season.

I have an advantage or head start; the guy below started the line we still use today. A few years of weeding out bad spots and perfecting the good ones. Of course it goes alot faster with a truck verses on foot.
