Archery Pro Shop Recommendations

Recommended Posts

Hiya,

If I were to make a recommendation, I would say Bwana Archery in Little Canada. I have been working with them for my archery needs for about 25 years. They are extremely knowledgeable and are very helpful. Junior, Andy, Sharon, John...great people!!

I know there are a couple of shops closer...a new one in anoka called Average Joes. Not sure of their selection and service but they are a bit closer to you, though...

Hope this gives you a start.

Steve

There's one off County Rd 81 just on the west side of Osseo that a buddy has recommended to me. I don't want to state the name because I don't exactly remember it.

I stopped in one time to buy some Limb Savers for my bow. Not a big shop but they seem to have what a guy needs and my buddy has been real pleased with the service he's had from them.

Other than that, if you run up to Princeton you could visit Whitcomb's. They also have a rep as a good shop.

Most of the time I find myself at Capra's in Blaine. On Hwy 65 just south of 610.

I wouldn't recommend any of these places if I've either heard of bad service or received it. I think you'd be happy with any of them.

I think Schaffer is the best in town. Archery Specialists isn't bad either. At first Brian rubbed me the wrong way (but always provided sound service), but the last few times I've stopped over he's been a heck of a lot more amiable. Maybe I just caught him on the wrong day previously.

Whitcombs is great, if you want Mathews or just good service.

Been to Archery Specialist in Maple Grove/Osseo area. Seems good, he put on a string stop for me, no complaints.

Been to Average Joe's Archery in Anoka, they're good as well.

Bought my bow last year from Archery Country.... haven't been pleased with their service, they don't seem to be to willing to go above and beyond; whereas the other places are eager to help.

There's a small shop in Zimmerman, Tales and Trails, right off of 169 on the east side as you are coming into town; seems to be helpful.
