Anybody been keeping up with the products being debuted? Two products so far have definately caught my eye. The new GLoomis NLX rods. Also the Larry Dahlberg Diving frog and Crawfish lure. Look pretty cool. GLoomis just raised the bar on expenpensive rods though over $500 a piece it looks like...OUCH

I like the look of Dahlberg's lures. There's many many years of observations and fine tuning put into each of his baits, so no doubt they all work exceptionally well.

Looks like there's some good news in the reel department as well. Nothing groundbreaking certainly but it looks like options and value are improving (which I like to see more than the ultimate reel coming at a new ultimate price).

I just got back from ICAST and it was pretty good, Northland Tackle has some cool looking lures and mono line, Okuma FINALLY has some awesome rods & reels worth buying, Frabil has a new rain gear that will be a must, and Lowrance has the down imaging. To many things to list but there's definetly a positive with the manufactures in spending and investing in new ideas and such. The over all mood of manufactures, vendors, distributors was very positive and that's what we really need.

Regards,

mr

Craigums,

I work in the fishing, hunting, shooting industry so I make it to ICAST, Shot and various other distributor, buying shows throughout the year. I see things long before they even make it to ICAST and SHOT sometimes.

depends on the factory but most should be available on websites and dealer should be able to buy the product now. But some manufactures hold to the 2011 launch date of Jan 2011 before releasing...but not many.

Call the manufacture and request for some liteture that they can send you?

sorry guys theres been a hiring freeze for some time, but I can tell you that the industry seems to have a change in mood for the better. Just hope the revenue stream follows with more jobs at the grass roots level.

Minn kota has info on its HSOforum about the talon now...looks sweet wonder what the price will be on it though...

It's something like $1,200 or $1,300 for the shorter model, and $1,400-$1,500 for the longer model.

Better start pinchin' my pennies now then. The wish list just keeps on growing. grin

Bassfish- I love what Koppers does with their baits, I compared the bluegill bait to one that my wife caught and it was almost dead on. I saw them at GM this spring and picked up a few at the NW Sportshow for cheap.
