Spring Cat Bite

I definitely have the itch, but I have not really started planning anything. I will continue to go through my gear to be sure it's ready but I'm going to wait for the ice to melt, river to flood a bit, and the water temps to hit 50 before I start hitting the water hard.

I'm taking up home brewing and I'm trying to develop a beer specifically for late night cats....

I like it!

We need to come up with a name for it though.

Muddy Banks?

Samsquatch Swill?

Monkey Psss?

Flat Bottom Brew?

Spotlight Special?

Monkey Psss gets my vote. You can only drink it right after you have cut up a day old large mooneye for cut bait. Sounds like a good catman's brew.

Yeah I'm brewing up a batch on Sat. and then another recipe sometime next week. The first one's going to be a brown ale and I'm not sure on the second one yet. They will both ferment for about 4 weeks or so...I'm thinking I might just start of a catfish beer series. Hopefully they taste better than monkey [PoorWordUsage] though....
