Sturgeon Excursion 2010 April 16-18

This years Sturgeon Excursion will be April 16-18th. Headquarters will be out of Wigwam Resort.

Prices:

Wigwam Resort $30 per person per night, free dock

Wigwam Resort

Wheelers Point $29 per person per night, free dock

Wheelers Point

River Bend Resort $30 per person per night.

River Bend Resort

Wigwam will not have their dinner buffet this year, each will have to purchase their own meal off the menu.

If one is staying at Wigwam, call early and make those plans so we can fill the resort up with Hot Spot Outdoors members.

This is the trip I look forward to the most each year.

The sturg are a blast to catch. Only location I know of where a person has a shot a a 100# fish.

Dang it, I won't be going up this year, at least not till after my daughter comes out! I'm trying to talk the wife into going into labor a couple of weeks early (she's due April 25th). If that's the case GAME ON!!! I got up last year for the first time, I was up a little early to meet ya'll but I've wanted to join up the last 3 years.

This is, no doubt, a great time. I jumped off the fence last year and don't regret it at all. My attendance is pending a separate trip north scouting deer ground in on and around our property north of Waskish. We'll have to see what shakes out.

This sounds like a BLAST! Canadians welcome? What do I need to know, where do I get more info.....have caught sturgeon up to 54" length before, but not in the spring..... I am VERY interested

Took a stroll yesterday behind the garage to check out the buried in snow boat situation. All I can say is I have a lot of digging to do to get this thing ready. It will be worth every shovel full, tho!!!!!!!!!!!!!
