When it comes down to a Championship game, it could be something as dumb as a bad call or a tipped pass to win or lose.

All you guys can say the Vikes always choke at the end or don't have any SB titles or whatever. Well guess what... there are 30 other teams that will be watching the Vikes play next week instead of being there themselves.

Whatever decisions, draft picks trades, etc that were made were the right choices, and this is why we are all fans. To watch playoff football.

Thanks for posting that. I've been waiting for the last week or so to see how it played out and it was just like clockwork with Vikings fans. You could almost feel the apprehension in the posts this week leading up to the Dallas game with some feeling this may be the end. What happens then? Well, you get some of the "how is your team doing" low blows, or "30 other teams would like to be in this position", and "It was a good season" mixed with "At least we won the division" excuses.

And now that the Vikings have to play the Saints the acceptance of mediocrity is rising to all new levels. I anticipate it to really peak this week, writing off the season already and clinging to a meaningless division championship. If all you expect is mediocrity, then mediocrity is what you'll receive....year after year after year after year....

I agree Dtro, this season has been awesome. We won the division and won a big playoff game against a team that was playing great football. We are right where we wanted to be right now with a chance to win the NFC Championship game and head to the superbowl. What a stellar performance today from the whole team top to bottom to the fans.

Lets go down to New Orleans and punch em in the mouth! It will be tough but if we can get into Bree's face early and often we have a chance to shut them down. We need a quick start on the road to silence their crowd!! IT'S GONNA BE WICKED!!

What do you expect from a team that snuck in the backdoor of the playoffs, coming off the easiest schedule of all time, has a worn out old QB, has the ref's in their back pocket, can not win unless we are at home, and every other sarcastic remark I can not think of at the moment!
