They're playing the NFC and AFC East divisions next season, plus the winners of the NFC west and south.

This season they played the NFC West and AFC North and the 2008 winners of the NFC west and the south (Carolina). It just so happened that the NFC west champs last year were the Giants.

GB has the same schedule but they play the 2nd place teams in the NFC west and south. (SF and Atl)

Chicago the 3rd place teams.....

Detroit the 4th place teams.....

Isn't the schedule pretty much you division opponents home & away, an NFC & AFC division on four year cycle, and then 2 more conference opponents based on your previous years finish in division.
