mnwild
Just saw the Vikes have 8 players on this years roster. Favre, Peterson, Rice, McKinnie, Hutch, Farwell, Allen and K.Williams.Very nice to see Rice make it, well deserved. Favre, Peterson, Hutch, Allen and Williams no question. Farwell is special teams good job but not last night, now McKinnie is something else will keep it to myself.Packers have Rodgers, Woodson and Collins. All of them deserved getting voted in especially Rodgers with what he has had to deal with the last 2 years, he has put up very impressive numbers since taking over for Favre. I think if Harris was healty all year he would be there also.Going to be a sight to see Favre and Rodgers on the same sideline playing for the same team. fbluvr27
I was shocked to see McKinnie. He has deserved it in the past and been looked over. I dont think he is too deserving this year however.

croixflats
Cant be good to have to play the pro bowl the week before the super bowl at the same stadium. Specially when most wont be in the big game.
MUSKY18
Agree about McKinnie....hasn't had the best of seasons. What is the logic behind playing the Pro Bowl at the same sight as the super bowl a week before? What was the NFL thinking?
PierBridge
McKinnie was having an oustanding season and was our best O-Lineman until his recent struggles. The voting was done a while ago and at the time he deserved it.Much more disapointed in Hutchs play although he is injured.

Lets all hope Favre won't be playing in the PRO Bowl along side Rogers and is playing in the Super Bowl instead. Can't play in both this year. zamboni
Guy throws the ball a million times a game, of course he is gonna rack up the yards, and with that the TDs will also come. My questions is, where is Greenway?? Dude really deserves it.

This idea to have Pro Bowl a week before the big game is a bad one.
fishersofmen
Amazing when you look at the numbers of Favre and Rodgers. Both have around 4,000 yds passing. Both have 29 TD's. Both have 7 INT's. Both have over 100 passer rating. Favre completion % is a little higher at 67% vs. 63% for Rodgers.Their numbers are almost identical.......All except for one.Favre is 40. Rodgers is 26. Very good year for Rodgers. Unbelievable year for Favre. Glad Favre made the pro bowl, well deserved for both guys.
PierBridge
Yep both very deserving. And to clarify again... nobody plays in both the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl this year.

This idea to have Pro Bowl a week before the big game is a bad one. Something suspicious occurred. Ross and Huizenga of the dolphins must know something or did something to receive both pro bowl and the superbowl. The probowl has been held in Hawaii for 30 years. Unless there going back to before it was held in Hawaii and do random cities. If so these southern markets are going to make a killing money wise while the northern markets take a bath. Harmonica Bear
I think the idea in having the pro-bowl kick off superbowl week, is to generate more interest, thus increase viewership and attendance.Intersting note. I saw on SI or ESPN they picked McKinnie as left tackle of the decade. I didn't see that coming. Of course I probably couldn't name another left tackle either. SledNeck
Id love to Aaron Rodgers on the vikes for the future. He has a great arm and is very smart with the ball. Not to mention he can take off and run.
A R Johnson
McKinnie hasn't done squat since his contract extension couple years ago, not deserving of the pro bowl ever
bunkerbay
McKinnie and about 10 others in this game dont deserve to be recognized as pro bowl players. The pro bowl is the biggest joke of a game anyways...the players give no effort and your better off wathcing paint dry than this game. The only cool thing about the pro bowl is when a blue collar guy like Heath Farwell makes it, like he did this year and will get a nice a vacation and bonus out of the deal

BlueLundFishrman
Look for the Vikings to have more players in the Pro Bowl once the game comes around, and the Super Bowl teams players are taken out of the Pro Bowl.
koonie
I see they added Harvin to the squad today.Mckinnie doesn't deserve to go. Plain and simple.
solbes
I kind of agree on McKinnie. He was pretty good the first 2/3 of the year but played some down right terrible games down the stretch. Getting beat by one of the best speed rushers in the game is one thing, but why were they struggling on run blocking schemes? Anyway I do see him getting back to form here in the playoffs.Harvin is very deserving of his selection for kick returning. Glad to see that happen. Scott M
As poor as our safeties have been, wouldn't it have been nice to see Darren Sharper patrolling the middle of the field? Might have boosted a win or two and added confidence to the passing defense during Winfield's injury and beyond.
SkunkedAgain
Ugh... McKinney has never been all that good. For his size he should be dominant but he rarely is that. He didn't deserve the kind of money that he got in his contract extension a few years ago, and hasn't performed any better since. A Pro Bowl birth? Come on, it's only because of the intangible benefits he gets from playing next to Hutchinson.I completely agree about Greenway being snubbed. He had an excellent season last year, and while this one hasn't been as spectacular, the guy has still produced and is a consistent star for the team. A few more layout interceptions like the other week will get him some more celebrity status, which is what you seem to need to be named to the Pro Bowl. PierBridge
McKinney was by far our best O-Line-man the first 12 games. Darren Sharper has been getting killed due to his lack of speed and age..
