Longest Day of Fishing?

Since everyone is thinking about getting on the Ice. What is the most hours/days in a row that you continuously fished. Where the fish bitin?

I think it must have been four days and three nights straight in a sleeper on LOW, though we did move around in portables somewhat during the day. And the fish bit all day/night. Saugers, some perch and eyes during the day with the ubiquitous pout on rattle reels at night.

And man, could I tell you some stories from THAT trip. Well, as much as I can remember, anyway.

um i guess this is a hard question to answer, 2 years ago on LOW 5 days straight of fishing ( and drinking) consecutive individual trips would have to be 13 lastyear.

my most consecutive days is like 20 somethin. i go out almost everyday

This may not count as our base camp was a somewhat remote,meaning no road access summer or winter or running water or electricity, cabin on North Fowl lake but it was 6 days in the wilderness. Been a long time but from what I have heard they messed up the snowmobile usage up there, so traveling from lake to lake is much harder.Kinda hard to move around with the Boundry waters at the back door.

Going to try to make it up there this Febuary for a weak.

Um...longest without sleeping is like 17 or 18 hours

4 days three night's for me. Running for more beer doesn't disqualify it from being consecutive though does it?

Longest without sleeping was about 28 hours. Storm on Red kept us locked in the Otter Lodge all night. Thats why I ALWAYS have a lot of extra propain with.

thats a good idea northlander... never know when your gonna need more propain.... usually when you need heat the most is when you dont have any left

Alaska summer 1990 fished 64 days consecutively.

Ice fishing was 23 days.

8 days in my perm many years ago on Kelly/Dudley, lots of interuptions with beer, sleeping and so on.

Glad the past is the past, not sure I could or would want to do that anymore......

Boy I guess I'm a lightweight. The longest I have been on the water was somewhere around 15 hours. I LOVE fishing but for some reason I have a hard time being out there all day. Most trips are 2-4 hours now.

As far as consecutive days fishing (albeit with a little sleep and food time between being on the water) I cant count that high.

The longest time...1.5 hours,yeah the fish were bitting kind of slow that day!!!!LOL. 4 days and 3 nights walleye fishing and if it weren't for the perch I'd have burned that darn house down and the lake with it! stupid walleye...

I fished every day in February last winter. 28 days straight

Longest upright active fishing with no sleep was 32 hours. There were many close to that as well. Back in high school we would drive up to URL and fish non stop instead of getting a hotel. Consecutive days with sleep in between is probably 40 something if you count mating on a charter boat... Otherwise that count drops to 12.

9 consecutive days and nights in a sleeper. Did this for over 15 winters. Countless 2 day/night stints. Obviously this was in my single days.
