LMITOUT
Is that similar to the Vikings staying with (but not beating) the Steelers who lost to Oakland today? That moral victory is looking worse all the time.
james_walleye
Dude please, who has to pass against the redskins? They havent scored any points at all this season. You can't read between the lines to see why the skins have the 2nd best pass defense in the game????
LMITOUT
.....and MN's pass offense? Who have they played? Do I have to bring out the chart again?

Big Dave2
How on earth can the refs turn the ball over to the saints when the whistle was blown as soon as the ball came out. How could they possibly know who would have recovered it(even if it were a fumble)? Looks like it's official, the league wants the Saints to go undefeated. LMITOUT
Looks like destiny...... the undefeated Saints and Colts in the Super Bowl.
james_walleye
I have seen more obvious calls not overturned because of inconclusive evidence....
fishersofmen
Wow that was a gift.....how many different ways did they hand them that game on a silver platter? Saints will loose at least one and are very beatable.

The Refs handled it perfectly getting the call right and they went straight by the book inj doing so.One the ball was out and the Saints recovered it. Luckily for Washington the stripes blew the whistle to earlyother-wise it was a Saints defensive touchdown and game over.
FISHINGURU
saints are a joke...they are close to 50/50 skill and luck...the things that happen in their games are laughable.

LMITOUT
Some will think that the game provides proof that the Saints can be beaten. We tend to think that it confirms their invincibility. If they ever were going to lose a game, it would have been today, six days after a huge win over the Patriots in a game played in temperatures below 40 degrees. Now that the bullet has been dodged, the Saints will be more likely to roll the Matt Ryan-less Falcons, the Cowboys at home, and the Bucs at home. JeffB
Any team in the NFL can be beaten, this doesn't mean we won't have another perfect season sometime. They were just a missed chip shot field goal away, not exactly invincible.

LOL against a 3 win team who hasnt been able to score any points all year. I agree i thought the skins would give them a good game, but its because we have seen other bunk teams give the saints a game.
Steve Foss
No TROLLS, please. Thank you. Yikes! No trolls? We'll have to shut down the sports forums! Or were you just citing forum policy selectively against anti-Vikings trolls?
LMITOUT
Denial is running thick in the FB forum today. Or maybe it's fear....
james_walleye
If the vikings play at NO i will not go into it thinking the vikings will win. Fear? After today? If anything, today just shows that the saints have weaknesses. Its not the first time a bunk team has stayed with the saints. Why would I think the vikings can't beat them. I don't care where the game is played, the vikings would light up the scoreboard on the saints.

james_walleye
If the 2 teams met at this point i wouldnt bet against the saints, especially at their place. But thats a far cry from thinking the vikings couldnt win either. I don't believe i've ever stated the vikings were better. I don't think there is as big a difference between the 2 teams as you would like to think. I think if the vikes could get them at home, that would certainly serve them well.
