Sunrise/old barns & Snowy Owls...

Recommended Posts

A predawn rise out from beneath the sheets and then out the door headed for the south west portion of Lake Winnipeg. Here's the results.

First a little pre-sunrise. I decided to walk into the frame in order to give the image a bit of a different twist.

After shooting a series on the sunrise, I headed approximately ten miles west of the lake in search of old barns and snowy's. First a couple of old barns.

Followed by a little sense of humor in this sign that I stumbled upon.

Then my first snowy of the season...a good looking male specimen.

Several miles off in another direction and I came across this beautiful female snowy!

If this is any indication between chasing "greenbacks" on Lake Winnipeg and searching for owls in my spare time, I think I'm going to be enjoying myself "again" this winter! wink
