Scott K
I think things are good just the way they are, no changes needed for GB. I think TT should be the first in the unemployment line.
we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted November 9, 2009 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted November 9, 2009 I think they should keep TT and McCarthy. Just what th doctor ordered.
TR21
splakeshaker nailed it on the head. The penalties the Packers commit at crucial times are a by product of an undisciplined team. How many times have they shot themselves in the foot this year with penalties that caused a loss of a big play or a touchdown. Would a new management and coaching tandem help? It has recently with San Fransisco, Atlanta and others. Now is that going to happen? I don't think so and instead the Pack is going to continue to be a 500 team despite some good players. Scott K
I will have to say, I wish the Packers all the luck in the world next week against the Cowboys.
Matt C
Hopefully GB is bad enough to make a changes at GM,Head coach, line coaches, O and D coordinators, Special Team coaches,ect.,ect. Time for a complete overhaul. I like the idea of a Holmgren, Cowher tandem. A couple big free agents with leadership skills and you'd have an Offense and Defense under insane discipline which GB needs more than anything. I hear Holmgren is being called to the Browns. BlueLundFishrman
Which teams are worse at this point? They just lost to0 Tampa Bay for crying our loud. Rick, You obviously don't watch much NFL. While the TB Bucs may have been winless prior to beating the Packers, and "on paper" or according the the oddsmakers the Packers should have won. There is much more parity in the NFL than in years past that has leveled the field. Who knows, even the hapless Detroit Lions stand a chance of beating the all-mighty Minnesota Vikings this weekend. It's just how today's NFL is. You don't tend to see the blowout victories in the NFL by a few dominant teams, like you used to. Every season a different team comes up from the middle of last year's field to have a great season. Now I don't think the Lions will beat the Vikings, but how much of a kick to the junk would a loss to Detroit be coming off a bye week? pegleg
Browns would never spend that kind of money to get Holmgren. They are the cheapest in the NFL next to Detroit and after Red McCombs sold the Vikes.

I've gotta say that there's only one thing better then a Vikings win and that's a Packers loss!

Actually this appears to be one of those seasons where we have more bad teams than we've ever had in the NFL. Granted, there is a lot of parity among teams above the Packers level though. Most of the time I agree, I would just like to see a little more cushion between us, and the team at our heals, that is in third place in the NFC, the Cowboys. Even if it means the Packers need to win to do it!
BlueLundFishrman
Sounds like the Cowboys are making some of the Vikes fans nervous.
Steve Foss
Look on the bright side packers fans......there is always next year!! Uh, I'm a fan of my team, so there's always next week. Just because we aren't likely to make the playoffs doesn't mean the season is over. Plenty of fun football left for every fan of every team. james_walleye
There is a big difference between the possible 2nd and 3rd seed, thats all hes referring to.
zepman
I will be rooting for the Packers to beat Dallas this week. Not nervous at all...just trying to take care of business. Home field and a first round bye is what the Vikes are playing for now. They'll make a strong push for the #1 seed before it's all said and done. Go Pack!! mnwild
Thats quote from fisherofmen, "there is always next year". I have been hearing that from Vikes fans for many years now. Its just funny it takes a X-Packer in Favre not hear that saying yet from Vikes fans. Better suck up this season and maybe next season (if he doesnt waffle between retiring or not) because you know once Favre is gone you have the same ole Vikes team back again, who do we start at QB?? Sage or the other guy?
fishersofmen
Can't be too fun to see your club loose to one of the worst teams in football. Really though thats what makes the nfl so great, there are surprises every week. I realize the pack are a better team than tampa bay but it feels good to rub it in. P.S Hey mnwild, what does it matter if you have a good qb if he spends half the game laying on his back.
Scott K
I am not going to ridicule the Pack for losing against the Bucs, as MN will be playing a really bad team this weekend, and may lose.
FISHINGURU
you people have to realize this isn't the vikes of old....we actually have a QB....not some junk guy running around using his natural ability to extend plays lol.
