Like I've said in previous posts....the purple better get it done this year!! Win a championship or the year is a bust period. Why do you think the Vikes will dominate against the Pack? It's funny that each week a few purple fans on this site expect the Vikes to win every game. They easily could have lost against Frisco and Baltimore. The Vikings are a good team, (best in the NFC North), but they won't win the Lombardi Trophy this year!!!! At least you have Tarvaris...Travarious...Tar...var...is...for the future QB LOL!

i think our d-line can overpower your o-line...stop the run and make rodgers hurry and get smoked...i don't think the pack can stop AP or favre on defense.

i agree our qb future is the worse in the league if we go with t-junk.

There is no doubt that anybody who wants T-Jack on the Vikings roster is an anti-Vikings fan. If I were a Packer, Bear, or Lion fan, which I am not, I would be all for the Vikings keeping T-Jack which would also keep the Vikings at the bottom of the division for years to come!

I see AP running for 160, Favre with 300yds, and 3 td's. Vikings win, 28-17. Although my son played a preview game on Madden 09, the Vikes won 102-7, and that is his prediction. So I hope his prediction is correct

The Vikings have the better rushing offense by far. The Packers have a better passing offense. The Vikings have a better run defense and the Packers have a better passing defense. Special teams has to go to the Vikings. I think that coaching goes to the Packers but not by much...maybe I'm just biased against Childress.

I think that this will be a close one that the Vikings win, but I'm certainly hoping that it's a Packer victory.

Two: the Pack are playing at home and contrary to perception are well coached and extremely hungry for this one...DUH!

Three: like ALL teams we are due for just a plain Ole BAD game like all Good teams have.

As much as I want us to win it may not be such a bad thing to get the living tar kicked out of us now...kind of like the Giants are doing of late, lets get all the bad play out of our system and peak at the end which is required in todays NFL to make a run!

Throw in small tangibles like injuries, Favre mania/hatred, to me it looks like....

Peir, I could see that rational IF the Vikes won last week. However, considering how the Vikes lost last week, I would think they are now even MORE hungry to put a W on this game. Aside from Favre's revenge, I think the Vikes D is ready for some redemption after last week, and A.P is way overdue for a monster game!

IMO, the last thing the Pacers wanted was for the Vikes to lose last week......

I see it as 2 very good teams with emotions running high on both sides. It is a big game because of who is returning in a purple uniform but outside of that is the obvious NFC North implications of the game. The Vikes need this game badly to put some distance between them and the Pack and the Pack need it badly to keep from falling too far back.

AP and Rodgers will both have big games but the edge goes to the team playing at home. Vikes will be the better team in the long run but the Pack take this close game. 30-27 Pack
