Floating suits?

Is Artic Armor the only suit that floats? From you guys that have them are they warm. A suit that floats sure would make a gut feel a little more comfy on first ice. Thought about getting getting the ice armour suit but would like the suit that floats. Also is there ant store that sells Artic Armor? Would be nice to try it on before buying it.

The AA suits are very warm and yes they will help you if you fall through the ice.

We can get the correct size for you if you give us your heigth and weight.

You can get them in the Outdoor Pro Store. You will also receive a free pair of gloves and free shipping.

Got mine last year, and love it! They are comfortable, Warm, and fishing friendly( lots of pockets)- They also work great for those chilly early spring crappie adventures... I bought mine in brainerd, but I have also seen them at scheels, and reeds- Its a great investment- good luck!

Got mine as a Christams gift from the wife last year. (Once she found out there was one that floats, that what I was getting, I had no say in the matter!!!)

They are warmer and lighter than I expected. Been real happy with it so far. It would make a great early spring/late fall suit for the boat, since its waterproof as well. (I got mine at Joe's in St Paul. Select Richard's in the Cities carried them as well last year, plus I believe certain Gander's carry them as well - Brainerd off the top of my head)

Wish i would have known the srore was in waconia drove threw there on thursday. Do you get the free gloves if you purchase there vs online? I think me and my brother will each get a suit, and what is special about the black suit or just the color? thanks for all the replies.

They offer the green/black or red/black or camo

The difference between the colors and the camo is the camo has a soft outer shell good for hunting and being quieter.

You also can choose the type of liner in the color ones . A brushed tricoat liner or a smooth liner.

Its worth going back to Waconia, ProFishingSupply, to try them on for size and style. I warn you you put it on probibly wont want to take it off their that comfy.

New this year is an all black suit as well.

I put the AA near the top of my list in fishing purchases I've made in the past couple of years.

Are the Ice Armor suits and Arctic Armor made by the same company? Looking to go from my grey suit to a AA camo and I have a med in the Ice Armor but looking at AA sizing chart it looks like I would be a small. I'm 5' 6" 195# I just can't believe I would fit in a small.

They are not made by the same company.

You'd want a medium AA suit.

    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
    • I haven’t done any leaf springs for a long time and I can’t completely see the connections in your pics BUT I I’d be rounding up: PB Blaster, torch, 3 lb hammer, chisel, cut off tool, breaker bar, Jack stands or blocks.   This kind of stuff usually isn’t the easiest.   I would think you would be able to get at what you need by keeping the house up with Jack stands and getting the pressure off that suspension, then attack the hardware.  But again, I don’t feel like I can see everything going on there.
