This series is a Win Win Win for Windy!

Recommended Posts

I hate to burst your little Twinkie bubbles but this series is a Win Win and possible Win for the old Wind Bag, here is how...

A) The White Sox win the last three games and I am happy because I am always happy when the Sox win

B) The Sox lose and I am still happy because they lower the tragic number for the Twinks leading to their eventual demise

C) The Sox win and Detroit ends up losing the division and I get to rub it in for life how the Twinks needed the help of my Pale Hose to win the division!!!

You can't wipe the smile off my face! LOL

Cmon windy, how can you like the tigers over the poor, no budget minor league, bunt, little man, 6-9 hitters hitting 230 or lower, pier loving, junk we throw out there (billionaire owner) over the kity's? You spend 2 weeks raping our fish at Cass and can't even root for us? I love you Windy!

That's all right I love nothing more than holding a minnesota fish and smiling, you have to travel to the promised land to catch these great minnesota fish. If you don't have anything good to say about us stay off our board and stay in crappy illinois

Zamboni,

Once again, I did not realize you were a part owner of the Twinks! Congrats on getting so many fans to appreciate your cheapness and loving the fact that they get close each year but never seal the deal, especially when it would only take a tiny bit of your billions of dollars to do such a thing. Just keep putting the fannies in the seats and let them cheer.....

Give me a C

Give me an H

Give me an E

Give me an A

Give me a P

WHAT'S IT SPELL??????

LOUDER!

NDSU,

You fail to realize that us FIB's just come up there for a week or two to fish, the rest of the time we get to live in our million dollar plus homes and eat in the finest restaurants and enjoy the finest night life that the Windy City has to offer, while earning our six and seven figure incomes. We are not stuck living in a double wide and eating beef jerkey for the entire year. We just come up there once a year to live in YOUR double wides and eat beef jerkey while we vacuum seal and freeze our limits of walleye to enjoy the rest of the year in a REAL city!

Yeah but we get to rub your nose in to the fact that your payroll is 5 times ours and you guys finished in third. Whether or not the Twins win the division, I will get plenty of satisfaction knowing that.

Plus the twins made better deadline acquisitions than the sox

Enjoy your rat race while knowing that even with all the butt kissing from Obama and Oprah, the IOC voted the windy city the first out of the running. I'll take my little house on the prairie, 40 grand house, 5 figure income, burgers on the grill, beers around the bon-fire, and the low blood pressure that goes with it. I happen to like beef jerkey, I make my own. grin

Kiss all the rings you want to. Living in the past is like fishing memories. The Sox were pretty good the year they won the series, and now they're in 3rd place in one of the weakest divisions in baseball. Pretty much because they haven't gotten any better.

I hope the Sox do sweep the Tigs. And if the Twinks can sweep the Royals I'l be rooting for my team on Tuesday while you're kissing your ring.

Well said Eric. Windy wishes his 3rd place team was where the Twins are at this time.

He won't admit that the Twins were better this year even with a tiny budget compared to those overpaid Ozzie players.

We can also watch the Vikes thump that other team, I think Da Bears.

I live in a double wide? Windy you make it sound like we are all a bunch of toothless, uneducated morons here. I have lived near Chicago, it isn't all rich folk there, either. Walk down midtown some night, near all your "fancy" restaurants- I would rather live here in my sleepy little town than be bugged for spare change by 100 people. I love Chicago, I do, but you are making it look bad.

Zamboni and Sled,

I did not draw first blood, NDSU did by calling Illinois "crappy". I did not fire the first shot but will always fire the last, you should know me by now. And as for the Olympics, I was against them coming here, I did not want to see all the traffic congestion and taxes go even higher but when you snicker at Chicago finishing fourth and getting eliminated first I can only snicker back while racking my brain to think of the last time a Worlds Fair or Olympics selection committee even thought of the state of Minnesota much less consider them!

I got a lotta mo so bring it on seniorita's!

Well as a fellow FIB, I gotta add this one on Windy's side:

Construction and summer in Minn: 3 months

Construction and summer in IL: 8 months

So I'll summer in Minn (at Cass) and winter in IL.

But really Windy, I think you overreacted to an obviously "less experienced" (read: immature?) poster(NDSU) on that one. I would have thought you would implement the wise-old Chi-townism: Don't bother to have a battle of wits with an unarmed man.

And before you guyz go quotin' anymore stats, remember:

How much two plus two is?

.....whatever you want it to be!

Plus you forgot the all-important stats like:

"Cougars" per capita

and

"WE HAVE THE CUBBIES".
