jeffreyd
i thought about picking him up on my fantasy team, but did not know anything about him, wish i would have now. oh well
koonie
I'm hoping with a little more practice that he and Favre will get a little more in sync.
gr8icefishinmind
berrian will be just fine.......alot of the bad plays were from bad timing between the him and favre!!
AWH
I agree. Berrian will be fine. He hasn't looked good at all this year...yet. But he didn't look that great last year early in the year either. By the end of the year he was making a lot of big plays. No reason to think this year will be any different if he stays healthy.Aaron
Dave S
berrian will be just fine.......alot of the bad plays were from bad timing between the him and favre!! When the ball hits you in the numbers 4 times and you drop every one..............It's not bad timing. I think he was put into Troy Williamson's old locker and found a pair of gloves. gr8icefishinmind
I don't think they hit him in the numbers, more like his hands........still no reason to drop a few of those balls but it happens!!

zamboni
I was a little miffed at why they had him returning that punt, I woulda put Percy in there after all he did run a kick back.
AWH
Returning punts and kickoffs are two completely different things. Percy isn't comfortable back there on punt returns, at least he wasn't in the pre-season. You want someone back there that can at least field the punts cleanly, if nothing else. And I'm sure this is the reason for putting Berrian back there. Percy hasn't proven he can do that in practice yet, let alone game time.Reynaud is a stud back there. Hopefully his injury doesn't result in him missing any future games.Aaron
walleyes12
Quick everyone Jump all over him! My goodness, relax, he will be fine!
pinkfloyd4ever
I thought it was good to throw him into punt returns, didn't know at the time Reynaud went down. I figured it was a get your head in the game move for all his drops. I remember Denny doing that with Moss in 99, Moss dropped some easy ones so Denny put him on punt return, think Moss got a TD return in that game
eyehunter
I really don't think you can put a "sucks" tag on him for having one bad game. After he got healthy last year he was awesome. Just have a little patience....it's only week 3. Once he and BF get their timing down it will be something to watch.
Jim Uran
I hope he'll be fine. We need someone who can catch the ball while trying to stretch the field. I honestly though they were going to try to stretch the field with AP when he lined up wide.
traveler
He'll be OK, give it a little time.
alwaysonthemove
yeah I think he will be o.k. allthough he might need stickier gloves to hang onto that ball from favre

MUSKY18
Agreed BASS! He couldn't catch a fricken cold right now. One thing it does it makes the reads easier for Favre, cause he doesn't have to look to see if Berrian is open. Trade him or just cut him loose. bassNspear
7 passes throw at him that hit him in the hands, and did nothing about it! Horrible, and yet, they keep throing it to him, hand it off!
eyehunter
Will you guys just relax....he dropped 2 passes....I really don't think that calls for him being traded. Good grief, I swear some people just aren't happy unless they have something to p!$$ and moan about.

Good grief, I swear some people just aren't happy unless they have something to p!$$ and moan about. I don't know what game you were watching, but on the Vikings team I watched Sunday, Berrian dropped far more than 2 passes. Sure it's early in the season, but he gets paid a sizeable income to catch a ball. You'd think he could put a little more effort into it. MUSKY18
Its not like these were incredibly hard catches to make, no diving for the ball, all stretched out........I could have caught the balls and I have hands of stone. Early in the year or late in the year, what is the difference? The season is now and there aint any do overs in the NFL.
