Central Bassman
Tony will no longer be on MNF, his replacement will be Jon Gruden!! What do you guys think?
Sandmannd
Better than Tony, suprised he lasted as long as he did. I liked Denis Miller better than Tony and that doesn't say much.

fishyguy
I won't miss Tony. Now if we can get them to get rid of having a guest in the booth for half the game.
Steve Foss
I like Tony a lot on his afternoon ESPN PTI sports show. Not as much on MNF.
Sandmannd
Agreed, he's good on PTI.
pinkfloyd4ever
I liked him on MNF, wasn't great, but usually could throw out a good one liner every other week or so.
Jim Uran
Didn't like him so much, but now we'll have to look at Chucky's mug every monday. Kornheiser is darn good on PTI though. He sure knows his stuff.
B. Amish
PTI is ESPN's best show in my opinion and Tony is a big reason why. Can't blame them for trying to put Tony on MNF. I was originally excited for it, but I agree he wasn't very good, although Dennis Miller was far worse.
Steve Foss
PTI is ESPN's best show in my opinion and Tony is a big reason why. Agreed. MNF just wasn't a venue where he could play to his strengths. I like his style so much I started watching MNF for the first time in years after he started there, but lost interest pretty quickly. Still catch PTI whenever I can, though. Fish Head
I think Gruden would be great. Tony was terrible so just about anyone would be an improvement.
IFallsRon
Jim Rome is still bitter that he didn't get the gig.
zamboni
Jim Rome is still bitter that he didn't get the gig. Shoulda give it to him and Jim "Chris" Everrett- THAT would be a blast!!
FISHINGURU
Tony was a tool during MNF..75% of the time he had no clue what he was talking about and most of the time he didn't even talk about the game he went off on some drama around the league...he talked about favre more then madden did easily.
