Accroding to Yahoo sports he's staying retired. It states that Childress and Favre spoke on the phone yesterday and Favre said he is staying retired. Thats why Childress didn't fly to Mississippi last night like reports were saying.

ESPN's John Clayton suggests that free agent Brett Favre's answer to the Vikings' overtures "may be no for now," but says the door won't be completely shut until training camp.

Clayton believes Yahoo's report that something happened within the last 24 hours to put talks "on hold," but isn't ruling anything out like Yahoo seems to do. For as wishy-washy as Favre is, it's still very hard to believe that he's suddenly made a final decision. The Vikings, though, could definitely call off talks if they're not sold on Favre's commitment level.

I heard a cut was going to be done to make his tendon heal faster in-lue of the normal surgery, so he could play this season.

I think I am actually going to pre-buy some game tickets now, so I can get my Dome Farve gear this season. Buy them now, cause when Favray signs, you know they will sell out like the old days At least we will not have to worry about "black outs" this year
