Hmm I think I might need all that time I can get. I want to start running the river to find every hole, snag and break point that is in my fishing area.

I also think I might have an advantage in the way of me finding out that my Old ladies uncle works for the DNR. He is the cartographer for the Croix Minnesota and Mississippi. I hope that I can get some of the maps to the river and GPS everything that looks like it could be promising.

Also think that, that would be an awesome job.

Man that would such a fun career ... I would love to work for the DNR ... although I must admit I was unaware that the Minnesota was plotted out on map? I have been using google earth a lot trying to find some good spots, and we have a few in mind ... Kitty are you in the Mankato area, or do you just fish down here often?

Hey Joe - Glad to see you are signed up. If you are only going to walleye fish until 1 June then I guess you wouldn't mind me fishing those flathead Honey Holes of your's on Pool 2. I'll pre-fish them all for you so you will know which one's to start working on 1 June.

I owe you a trip on the St Croix. Let me know when you are ready to chase some cats. I'll put you on a fish or two.

Would like to see you down here on P2 Steve!!! Pulled a 45" fish out of my little honey hole last year and a couple close in one of the other spots we fish. Nothing really happend till about the 1st last year for me. Some killer channel spots we could check out earlier if your intrested!! always an open seat for you Steve!

I signed up. Don't get out for cats real often. But I do spend a ton of time on the rivers so get some from time to time.
