Raised on bass fishing…..found cat fishing…...never went back.

Can’t seam to give up the moving water, and I don’t miss the rec boaters.

65mph in a bass boat…….I think I will keep my 46mph (in 4” of water).

Rough around the edges. OK…..you got me, but at least I don’t fish for bass smile

Congrats....

wait a sec...GRH, you posted on 02/15 that you were "hoping" to get a boat this year ... and 3 days later you already have one?? Wow... grin -- you really do live on the "easier to get forgiveness vs. asking for permission theory".

Way to go buddy...happy for ya...great boat!

I plan on buying a boat this summer...I would do it now but the savings needs to be used for a down payment on a home. For all this to come together I need to find a permanent job first. My job is done in May unless I get offered a permanent position, which is probably less than a 50/50 chance.

Get the boat before you lose the job. It will give you lots more time on the water smile

Just waiting to pick up my 2008 1825 Lund Explorer with a Merc 135 opti, 70# minnkota on the bow, no electronics on it yet, have an lcx 25c for the council and 337 for the bow. smile

It is new on the showroom floor. I am getting my big water boat finally.

But I think that I'll miss my 16' explorer a little, that boat has been on some big water in the past and great for the smaller lakes, but I won't be tired of getting wet and beat up running across the lake in a heavy chop.
