Hitman54
fishadb,Two healthy fat pike! Wish I didn't have to work tomorrow or I'd be out with my boy trying for some more. I got a batch of picklers working in the brine now.
anamod
anamod,Great fish! Are you now hooked on spearing? I just love it. 100% hooked. Our lake has a ton of pike in it and is very clear. The best part is I spear about 15yds from shore and my cabin is the one on the left in the picture so its real convenient to go grab a snack or beer when ever you want. I currently use an Eskimo Fatfish but will invest in probably an Alumilte for next year. My 16 yo daughter was spearing with me when I got that one and I went in to get the tape measure and came back out to her pulling a 27in 5 lb in on the tipup, I think she is hooked also. jasonmichalski
Speared a nice 36" fish to day, it came in to one of the first decoys I ever made, first time sticking it in the water in a few years, lol
Timberdoodle2
that fish sure looks alot purtier than that deke, jason.. she must have had a taste for less glamour than your normal dekes:)
jasonmichalski
Lol, the decoy actually has a ton of detail, it's also full scaled, but theOld airbrush died in the middle of painting it, it's different but the fish love it, I used to use it a lot on another lake I don't spear much anymore, lol!
